"They're going to make me forget aren't they?"
His hands hold onto mine as I stare at his eyes so green. Holding onto that memory

"I hate her for doing this to you." I whisper to him and he nods along as his hands shake when he holds my face in them pressing a kiss to my forehead.

"This is all my fault. We should've been more careful-"
"Hey, none of this. Not any of it, is your fault." He rubs my cheekbone with his thumb as he nods in assurance.

"I always got you bird." He whispers and I nod letting my palm sink into his hands his touch igniting me. "I've always got you too idiot."

"Last time I'm seeing you-"
"No this ain't our last." I shake my head arguing with him like I did every day. But I couldn't see him leave me.
Not ever.

"They won't send you in. You're her daughter-"

"Blake!" He runs in his white suit his face fearful ready to rip us away. "They're coming for him." He says staring at the both of us.
"Thomas try get five-"

"I can't-"

What can't he do?! What can't he do? Who's Thomas? What can't he do? Why? Why are they taking him away. Who is he?

What the fuck did I just wake up to?
The walls haven't opened.
It's almost daylight.
They're having their meeting about me.

Those are sadly my first thoughts instead of what the fuck is this place.
I still can't believe it exits. I don't even know that I exist.

I almost fall out trying to get out my hammock still getting used to how it worked.

I managed to, I was still in my best I had under my shirt. It was too hot to sleep in my shirt. I run ahead my arms hugging my body as I walk to homestead.

Bearing in as much as possible by the entrance as I hear them talking.
I stand outside leaning in to hear their words.

"You know this means something."
Gally reckons and I try look through the gaps between the twigs in the wood but it's hopeless.

"She's scared Damn it. You know it. We're not going to do anything about it. Just give her time." Alby defends me and I wander who he's defending me from.

"Look I get it Alby. But she's gonna have to start trusting a lot more if she needs to get comfortable." I thought I could hear Zart.

And he has a fair point. I get that I'm an outcast. I need to stop making myself more of one by not communicating.

"We just got the bloody girl to talk. She's barely said two sentences." Newt defends and I can't help but smile appreciating it.

"Can we get to the main point here. The one we're all avoiding?" Mihno finally piped up and I manage to find a gap sufficient enough to see through.

Seeing them all stood around in a circle confiding within each other.
"Which is?" Winston asks.

"How we're managing to make sure those shanks keep their hands off her. They all eye her down like Winston does with fresh meat." Gally says and I feel a little anger towards him. Whys he so angry all the time.

I don't want everyone to hate me. I just want to defend myself.
"Yeah we need to pull our gladers in for a meeting. One that includes her." Alby reckons and I turn my head trying to see where Gally was stood.

"She get special treatment?" Winston asks and Alby nods. "She needs a separate hammock. Away from us. And a specific time to shower-"

"So she gets special treatment?" Mihno asks and Gally scoffs as if he's said something stupid.
