Trouble

"Come on girl you're slacking with us."
Frypan said this for a week straight but my mind was too busy wandering around at the maze walls.
I was too busy wandering how I could get out.

I wanted to get out. I memories everything. For the next week straight. Which maze walls open when. Which one does Minho run through. What time does he come back when he runs through them.

I eavesdropped on Alby and Newt talking the other day. They want to put Justin back as a runner. Alby also talked to newt about me.

Shank thought I was actually dangerous. He thought that I couldn't be handled. I was so ready to handle him. Thankfully Newt fought my case so hard by me.

But that meant he had to promise alby that I no longer have any outburst.
I knew I was a burden to even Newt. Which is why tonight I was ready to run.
To sit by the third wall. And by the brick of dawn. To race in there.

The runners enter a little late because they have more time to run these sections so they have a little more rest. Which means they won't see me run in.

"Hey, where's your head at Blake?" I turn my head to see Minho staring down at me and I didn't even realise it was time for him to stand by the maze walls.

"Sorry." I quickly whisper handing him the sandwich I wrapped up a while ago. We decided to make beef stew tonight. My last meal before I get out of here.

So I helped them prep the meat and the rest they had to do was cook and serve. "Damn so girls think this much all the time?"
Frypan asks and I shoot him a small smile before standing up to walk away and back into my hut not even washing my hands. I just wiped them on my shirt and fell back in my hammock.
And avoided everyone until they came slamming on my door like they did every day for the past week.

I couldn't even care anymore.

"You're late again." The same knock on my door came from the same guy.
And all I gave him back like everyone else was silence.

"This wouldn't of happened if you just explained-"
"Yeah I'll take it from here Newt."
The moment I heard Gally my head snapped to my door my heart dropped for a moment as my head turned to the door.a

"Bird, I'm coming in." He says and I stay silent keeping my head to the door waiting for him to walk in. And he does as he stands there staring at me waiting for a reaction out of me.

"Say something." He says and I sit here frozen not moving an inch. "If you think I'm apologising for not letting you kill yourself in that maze your wrong."

I stay silent not even listening to his words. I just wait for him to leave. Because his presence angers me so much.
"You really aren't talking?" He scoffs and I continue to stare waiting for him to just leave.

"Fine, it's nothing to me." He says throwing his hand in the air visibly frustrated. He was ready to storm out but he turns around hesitating to leave.
And I watch him puzzled.

"You, you think I did it because I hate you....its not."
He the paces around my hut for a moment.
"You can hate me all you want....you know what. Forget it."

He finally shuts up.
"Look whatever problem you have against me, there's no point. I wont cause anymore problems from now."

Tomorrow morning. Just one more light and then I'm done.

And there I sat. I made sure Minhos sandwich was already prepared my hut door slammed shut so no one would be suspicious.

No one would wake me up early or think I'm missing. I snuck out earlier than anyone in the morning. And I ran in the woods. The only time this month this entrance opens. And I was so glad.
