(M/n) stare at his bleeding hands, fire burning around him and screams of agony surronded him, people.

People are burning, their skin melted from their bones, the scent of burning meats fills the air like toxic. (M/n) eyes widen  when a figure loomed over him and step forward " wait-" 

(M/n) jolt awake sweating heavily, he held his head and take a deep breath. He felt his wrist burning, its tightening, he curl up into a ball and wince in pain.. What did i do wrong? ..

(M/n) reach out to a tumbler next to his bed and open it, he slowly drink the content of it and felt his heart calm down and his mind going blank before he fall asleep.

(M/n) watch MK and Mei played the game while he lean on Sandy, he felt tired again and started to feel oddly cold despite the hot weather. Mo nuzzle against his cheek and he smiles and petted Mo.

"Button mash all you want, MK. You'll never beat my Ancient Galloping Fury Power." Mei is casually playing and seems relax while MK is sweating and smashing the buttons like there is no tomorrow. He stick his tongue out and aggressively smashing the buttons.

"Up smash, up smash!  " Sandy intructed leaning over.

"I'm trying, Sandy. Okay? I'm trying, I'm trying." MK stressed out.

(M/n) chuckles and keep watching them " come on MK. You can do it, its all about combos and finding a opening" 

" but Mei keep parrying!"

Mei laughs at this "No one can defeat me.  except for (M/n). He is actually good- "

Mei's phone started ringing and Mei frown, its her mother. she quickly answered it walking off abit to talk to her privately.

" Oh boy. Hi, Mom. Yes. Of course. Yes, Mother." Mei look down upset and defeated, (M/n) look at Mei and gently touch her shoulder.

While everyone is distracted, Mk starte beating up Mei's character in the game smashing the buttons.

"Hey, you okay there, Mei?  " sandy ask looking at her concerned.

"Yeah. It's just " Mei stop talking when Mk laughs victorously after he beated Mei character, (M/n) slowly raise a stick but Sandy and Mei slowly lowered it down. Mei sighs and rub her arm and look away.

" My parents -- they want me to housesit." Mei replied, there is sadness and hesitation on her voice and expression.

(M/n) look at her and frown, he held her hand gently and Mei hold his, Mei softly smiles at (M/n). Thankfull for the comfort.

"And that's a bad thing?  " Sandy asked looking at her.

"No. Me and my parents, we --" Mei nervously smiles and laugh anxiously, she look away until MK interupted her, (M/n) grab the stick again but stopped by Sandy again. Mo nervously nuzzle against him trying to calm him down.

" Uh, did Mei say sleepover at her house?  " MK suggested then suddenly having his pajama, a pillow and a monkey king plushie.

(M/n) stare at him " what- dude- MK-"

"What? No. My parents would want --" Mei shake her head and wave her arms to stop MK.

"Sleepover!  I've always wanted to see inside Mei's secret Dragon House full of secret dragon stuff. 

(M/n) stare at MK disapprovinly when he keep dismissing Mei, (M/n) place a hand on Mei hand again " Mei-" 

Mk rush to them and started begging "Come on, please?  Please, please, please, please, please?  "  MK use his puppy eyes and sparkling.
