~Friday, December 3rd~

Noah's PoV

Finally, Friday, meaning weekend. Now don't get me wrong, classes are pretty easy, at least for me, but the people in my school are the most annoying living beings, especially my friends. There's Izzy, the most craziest girl I've ever met. Eva keeps her strained down; she's the group's "Wonder Woman", plus Izzy's girlfriend. Then there's Owen, he's basically a human vacuum, eating anything that's digestible. And lastly, Cody, the most annoying geek I have met, but, I guess, in a good way annoying.

It was a snowy evening in Toronto, so it was cold, obviously. I was fond of the cold and used to it, ever since I moved from India to Canada, when I was barely 6. I had a white long sleeve shirt and on top a red sweater vest, plus I had an extra sweater in case it got too cold, but I don't think I really needed that sweater. It was cold, but not freezing cold, at least for me.

While I was walking through the hallway, I saw Cody closing up his locker, ready to head out. As soon as he closed the locker, his eyes quickly landed on me. "Noah! Hii!" the short geeky boy said as he smiled, showing his tooth gap. I gave him a small wave, no smiling, and continued walking. Literally two seconds later, Cody ran up to me to continue walking next to me.

"What do you want Gap?" I said as I opened the book that I had in my hand.

"Nothing really. I just wanted to walk to the exit with you!" Cody said, shrugging a bit, as he gave a small, but rather awkward smile.

We continued walking in silence. I don't know if I should consider that silence awkward or peaceful, but for me, it was music to my ears. The moment we arrived to the school entrance, I walked out, but I only heard my footsteps. I stopped and turned around, to see that Cody was still inside. I sighed, knowing that something was clearly up, preventing him from exiting the school. I entered the school walking up to him.

"Alright, what's wrong?" I asked, putting my hand on my hip.

"It's snowing..."  Cody answered.

I observed Cody and noticed that he was shivering a bit. I also notice his clothes weren't really warm, he had long cargo pants, a light brown long sleeve shirt and on top of that a darker brown shirt with some cream colored lines, but both shirts looked thin, and to make it even worse, he had no jacket.

"Gap, you're obviously cold. I mean, who would wear those type of clothes in this cold?" I said, with a hint of sass.

"I know, I had forgotten to wash my clothes and this was the warmest thing in my closet today." Cody then proceeded to awkwardly laugh.

I sigh dramatically as I hear his response and gave him a "really?" look. Who the fuck forgets to wash their clothes in the weekend? I guess Cody does, sometimes. I looked at my sweater, and thought about lending him my sweater. I didn't really needed it right now, since I was warm enough, but it's Cody who were talking about, and, well... Cody is... Cody. I gave it a second thought before giving in, and stretching my arm out to Cody, handing him my navy blue sweater.

Cody's PoV

I can't believe I found myself in this situation, and with Noah! This was really awkward. I looked up when Noah sighed for a second time, expecting a really annoyed expression from him. Well, to put it short, I was right, but, he was also handing me his sweater. Wow, I never expected Noah, a rude, sarcastic and sassy bookworm, hand me, the person he found most annoying, his sweater. I looked at him, my eyes widened a bit. I felt my cheeks burn up a bit. I think I was blushing?
