Sophie's heart pounded, sweat beaded on her forward. Her breath was shallow and fast. She reaches into her pocket and brings a light-leaping crystal. It glints in the sunlight. Sophie sharply inhales as the light catches the dark blue leaping crystal. A tear trickles down her cheek. She had to do this, everyone was counting on her. Sophie did not want to leave, she had the choice to stay, but ultimately she made her decision. She would miss everything about the Lost Cities, but hopefully, she would be back in a year.
She wipes her tears away, as she raises the crystal to the sky and glitters away.
A/N I hope you enjoyed that, The first chapter will be out in the next day or so. So I am unsure whether or not to do 1st or 3rd person for each chapter. The First chapter will be Sophie's POV then switch too Keefe's in chapter 2 I think I'll post 3rd person for 2 chapters then try out 1st person.
