"Nice. Perfect cover for our new digs. On the outside, I mean, it's downright nasty." Mal said with a cheery tone as they went inside. But his face quickly turned to one of disappointment, "And it's nasty on the inside, too. April fools, right? I mean, this is the team's new HQ? Where's the secret trapdoor to our real base?"

"No secret trapdoor. And it's not our new HQ. For the time being, we'll operate out of the basement of the Hall of Justice. This is just a place to crash. A very temporary stopgap place to crash for those of you who were actually living at the cave." Nightwing emphasized.

"It's fine." Conner told him. M'gann and Lily going over to a small corner with curtains around it.

"I'm sorry about the lack of privacy, for you two. This curtain will have to do for now but we'll figure something else out."

"Yeah, we'll just build a wall." Lily joked, though her expression didn't show it very well.

"Oh, no. No way. I am out. I am headin' for the hall. Where I'm making other arrangements, my friend." Mal spoke determinedly.

"You three should go along. Pick up the boxes of your stuff we salvaged from Mount Justice. It might help this warehouse feel more like a ware-home."

Lily looked at one of the boxes of her things, on the top of the pile was the picture of the team they took five years ago. Before Red Arrow even joined the League. Lily smiled down at it before putting it back and picking up the box.

"So, I know a warehouse isn't exactly your dream home." Billy, who was currently in his Captain Marvel form, started to speak as she moved the box.

"Maybe not, but it's better than the Asylum." She finished the sentence in a single-song voice as he followed behind her.

"Right. But I was wondering, if you were willing to, then maybe..." he started to trail off, almost as if asking her to finish the sentence.

"Okay, I give up. Maybe what?" She asked him.

"Then maybe... you might want to move in with me." He finished. Lily almost dropped the box in her hands, barely catching it as a smile spread across her face, which he didn't seem to notice.
