It was a hot day in the jungle. It's not like it was ever cold there. In a tree house laid a young pup with his owner. The two dedicated their lives to helping animals and uncovering the secrets of the past and sometimes having fun with their friends. Although that them having visitors was rare. It's been a good seven months since the Paw Patrol visited Carlos, the young adult, and Tracker, his pup and member of the team of pups. It was not unusual for them not to come visit the two often, but this was unprecedented. This day, they woke up as usual around sunrise. And went on to have breakfast. Aside from a good morning, nobody said anything. After eating, the boy noticed that Tracker was sad. "Everything okay, Tracker?" Carlos asked. "Yes. I'm just missing the company of my amigos. It's been a while since I seen them." Tracker said. Carlos knelt down to his friend and stroked Tracker's head. "They are busy Tracker. But let me call Ryder and ask if they can come sometime soon." Carlos proposed. "Gracias. It means a lot." Tracker said, now smiling.
Carlos and Tracker stepped outside to make the call. Once on the ground, Carlos made the call. Far away in Adventure Bay, Ryder, and the pups were relaxing on beanbags inside the lookout. It's 9 o'clock in the morning, and somehow, there were 3 emergencies in a row already. "What is happening with the town today?" Rocky asked. "Yeah. We didn't get to eat yet." Rubble said. "I don't know pups, but better not plan anything for today." Ryder said. The group got a bit comfortable when the boy's phone went off. As Ryder took his phone out his back pocket he saw that it was Carlos who was calling him. "Hey, Carlos! Long time no see." He said. "You can say that again. Listen, Tracker is feeling lonely. Do you guys by any chance planned to come visit?" Carlos asked. Ryder felt a bad for the young pup. Especially because his answer was a no, not because they didn't want to visit, but because of the duties they had. "I'm sorry Tracker, but Adventure Bay needs us. This morning was already busy for us and who knows what happens next. I would say we would welcome you to come and stay overnight, but yet again I'm afraid we might not be able to spend much time with you." Ryder said. Tracker became sad after hearing this and Carlos noticed it. "It's okay Ryder. Entindo. I understand." Tracker said walking away. "What about the other's? Can't they come to visit?" Carlos asked. Ryder shook his head in response. "Sorry guys. Liberty is busy with the Junior Patrol, Everest and Jake are out of town and so are the twins and the Cat Pack." Carlos nodded and hang up. "Poor Tracker. He seemed very upset." Skye said. "I wish we could go. But we are needed here." Ryder responded.
Back in the jungle, Carlos ran after Tracker who was upset because of the earlier conversation. "Tracker, wait up!" Carlos yelled. Tracker stopped and turned towards his human. "I know you miss them, but they will come one day." He said. "It's been seven meses Carlos. I love you and the animals, but I need to spend time with my kind too. I sometimes wonder do they think of me anymore or not." Tracker let out. Carlos was looking at his pup. He knelt down like before and this time hugged him. "It's okay Tracker. We will find you some more friends. Okay?" The young adult said. "That would be great. Thank you." Tracker said retuning the hug. "Until then, how about we discover the inside of the temple we found a week ago?" Carlos asked, letting Tracker go. The pup smiled and nodded in response.
