Tracker and Carlos reached deeper into the temple. The building was looking small from the outside, but as it turns out, the corridor was going under the ground. "What do you think we will find, Tracker?" Carlos asked. "Don't know, don't really care. All I care about is that you are with me." Tracker said to Carlos's shock. Tracker never talked like that. "Tracker stop for a moment, please." Carlos said. The pup obeyed and turned around to face his owner. "I know the pups hurt you. Is this why you are acting so out of character?" Carlos asked. "Sí. I'm not mad at them, but disappointed." He responded. Carlos knelt down to his friend. "I know you want your friends. But they have responsibilities." Carlos said. "But they don't have a day in half a year to visit? Doesn't matter. They would forget me if it wasn't for you." Tracker said. Carlos raised an eyebrow but had nothing to say. He knew he would have to talk with Ryder later. Tracker is not well emotionally. And that is obvious. "Carlos." Tracker called out. "Hmm?" Carlos snapped back to reality. "Please promise me that you will never forget I exist." The pup said. Carlos blinked twice in response. This was unexpected. "Of course I will never forget about you. I promise you this." Carlos said. Tracker nodded, and he continued walking down the corridor. Carlos got back to his feet and followed him. "What was that about? Why would he ask me that? He is my best friend. I could never forget him. I guess he is afraid of being forgotten." Carlos thought to himself.

On their way were the pups. The Paw Patroller was full speed headed towards the Jungle. Inside it, the pups were resting. The morning rescuing had a toll on them. As Skye was slipping while sitting, Rocky was tilting fell on her lap. This woke her up, and she saw what had happened. She decided to let him be. Lately, he had been busy and tiered. Skye turned her head to the right and met Chase with an open mouth, hitting her with the smell of his breath. Skye got a bit frustrated and did not allow this to happen. The Cockapoo pushed the Shepherd's face a bit, waking him up. "Your breath smells." Skye whispered. "Oh, sorry." He whispered back and lifted Rocky's head with his paw. This woke the mixed bread up. "Sorry." Rocky said after a few moments of trying to realize where he was and what had happened. Rocky sat back up, and the three were wide awake now. Ryder turned towards them when he saw them awake. "You three slept good?" Ryder asked. "We did." Skye said. Ryder smiled and then observed the necklace she and Marshall found on her neck. "Glad you found it. Tracker will be happy." The boy said. "And that we are visiting after all." Rocky said. "We owed him this much." Chase responded. The rest of the team woke up one by one. Zuma first, then Marshall, and finally Rubble. "Good morning, pups." Ryder giggled. "We were traveling for a day?" Marshall asked, confused. The group burst out laughing at the Dalmatian's question.

Back in the temple, the duo finally reached the end of the corridor. "Well, that was most certainly the longest passageway I have ever walked through." Carlos took a few deep breaths from tiredness. Tracker did that too. "Hope there is something in here. Otherwise, I don't know what I will do." The pup giggled, and so did Carlos. After the two rested a few moments, they got back to exploring. The room they were in looked like a throne room. This was confirmed once they found the remains of a throne. They approached the piece of furniture. Strangely, on the throne was a golden bracelet. It had a layer of dust on it. It looked old. Around 1500 years old. There were a few carvings on the side of it and some writings in a long forgotten language. "Strange." Carlos said. Tracker got a little closer to the object. "Careful Tracker. We don't know if there is a trap or not." The human said. As he said this, the bracelet started shaking and lashed onto the pup on its own, and from nowhere, a blinding light blinded both of them. It took a while, but Carlos gained his vision back slowly. He looked around only to find that Tracker was gone. "Tracker?" No response. "Tracker!" No response. "What happened with him?" The young adult asked, starting to panic and a few moments later decided to call for help. This resulted in him running back outside. Although it will take him a while.
