- Chapter 3 -

Aru POV

She came too early!!

I was cleaning my room, and out of nowhere, the bell rang. Now being as smart as I am, I knew it was Mini. BUT SHE WAS TOO EARLY!! Don't misunderstand me, she has seen my room messy millions of times but she freaks every single time. And lectures me on germs. I swear by now, I can literally recite her lecture. I quickly run down and open the door preparing my ears.

"Aruuuuuuu" she says, elbow bumping me (don't ask)

"Miniiiiiiiiiii" I reply with the same enthusiasm. We laugh and head up. Wait for it. Wait for it. Opening the door and...........

"AAHHHHHHHHHH, ARUUUUU. DO YOU KNOW THE NUMBER OF GER-"

"Yes Mini, you said like 6 million times! Chill! I'll clean up"

"DEATH, I KNOW! Geez Min, relax. I'm on it." I say stuffing everything in my storage room right next to my bedroom. I was done in like five minutes.

"There, you happy? And why are you always sooo early?"

"Because early bird get the wor-" 

"Worm. yes, yes but you are not a bird, you don't eat worms, there are no worms here and it does not metaphorically relate! Like what is here that can 'signify' the worm?" I say doing air quotes for the word 'signify'. 

She just shakes her head implying that I am hopeless.

"Aru, where's Krithika auntie?"

"Business trip." I say simply and Mini immediately understands. And I am thankful for that cause I can't even explain at this point.

"So what do you wanna do? Cause I have a few things pla-"

"MOVIEEEEEEEE." I scream as she shakes her head, done with me. I'm done with me too, so I'm not offended.

"No, you'll put 'Lord of the Ring' or 'Frozen'. Frozen is better but we watched the first one three times and the second once twice so no. I am putting my foot down.

We started Frozen 2 from the beginning after getting Lays chips. It was tomato ketchup falvoured.

"Remind me never to put my foot down again." Mini grumbles under her breath. (A/N: If someone guesses where that line is from, hats off to you!)

"I heard that, but I agree." I reply happily

"Aru, you replayed 'Into the unknown' seven times! Seven!!"

"It's the new 'Let it go'!! It deserved to be replayed!!"

"You said 'Show yourself' is the new 'Let it go'!!"

"That too!"

"WHAT!?! NO!!"

I laugh and replay the song again.

We somehow finished the movie. I replayed 'Show yourself' only sixteen times, if you were wondering.

"Ok Mini, let me change to pj's and then we'll play the board games or something." 

"Sure." Mini replies.

I changed to my classic Spiderman PJ's. Can't have a proper sleepover without Peter Parker being involved now, can we?

As soon as Mini saw my PJ's she shook her head in disapproval. She was wearing a normal black comfy shirt and pants. 

"So Spiderwoman, what are we playing?" Mini asks

"Can we just talk for a while?" I say ignoring the fact that she called me Spiderwoman cause that is obviously a compliment.

"Sure, you start."

"Ummm, I stuck my tongue at a total stranger. You know, the new guy, Aiden."

"Of course you did, you are Aru" she says not looking the least bit surprised

"Whatever." I roll my eyes, "So. What's depressing, I mean interesting in your life?"

"Well, I-um-maybe got a A- in Maths."

"No way! I'm so screwed if you got a A- in maths. I failed." I screech.

"Shout a little louder, will you? I don't think the end of the street heard." she grumbled.

"Sorry, sorry," I say, quieter.

"Well, I'm meeting a new friend of mine, Brynne and she's bringing another friend of hers so you wanna come with me? It's for chaat." Mini says forgetting what just happened or probably avoiding the topic.

"Chaat is all I needed to hear. How'd you meet her though?" I say deciding to tease (torture) her later

"We have Geography together and just clicked I guess. You'll love her though." She replies with a shrug.

"Ok, lets start the board game."

I won Monopoly if you were wondering. Mini won Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Chess and Scrabble. But those aren't as good as Monopoly.

i think i wrote this in like dec 2023 or something. around then.
i dont like this chap but i dont hate it. it just.........is. ykkk

i didnt even edit this TvT

anyways. i do not have the energy nor the time to change every single thing abt this chap so im sorry but ur gonna have to deal with this TvT
