- Chapter 4 -

Aru POV

Guess who woke up first.

If you guessed me then thank you for your immense trust and I am sorry I failed your trust. But Mini woke up first.

We got ready quickly since we were having brunch with Brynne and her friend.

Mini wore a cute red tank top and light blue jeans which she rocked. I wore just a maroon hoodie and comfy white loose pants. I don't care about what I wear as long as it's comfortable but Mini is more conscious. She doesn't care too much but she does care, get it?

Anyways, we go to get Chaat with Brynne who Mini seems to be really close with. Too close.

"Mini, where are they? And how do I not know this place?"

"They are supposed to be around the corner and I don't know how you don't know this place Aru. I am not your mom" she says, sighing

"Ummmm.......Mini? I see a girl matching your description but there are three other people with her."

"Then it is not her, Aru!" she says, not looking to where I was aggressively nodding my head towards.

"Really? Then why is she waving to you?"

"What?" she says moving her neck so fast that I am sure she got whiplash.

She winces with her hand on her neck then waves back.

"Then I would have bought Nikki and Shels to" I hear Mini grumble under her breath as we go to sit with them.

"Heyyyy." a very tall girl says enthusiastically. 

"Hi, Brynne. This is Aru." Mini says, gesturing to me and I wave.

"Nice, I'm Brynne. This is Hira, she says to the girl sitting next to her.

"Hello!" says the girl, a big smile on her face.

"Then this is Aiden." Brynne says, pointing at him.

"Mr. Popular!" I say grinning and he rolled his eyes.

"You know each other?" Brynne asks, giving a look to Aiden.

"Cut it, Brynne. Save your looks for your girlfriend." Aiden shot her a glare and Brynne glared right back.

"Girlfriend?" I ask and Hira bods.

"Ahhhh, never mind." I say.

"I was gonna get two but this one," Brynne point to the other boy "was extra. Anyways, everyone meet Aiden's tail, Rudy." Brynne informs us.

"Boys are all animals but I didn't know they were pieces of each other." I say.

"I'll have you know that I am an exceptional individual of society and am certainly not Aiden's tail. I was forced by my mother." Rudy explains. Brynne howled - I swear like a wolf - and everyone laughed at her howling more than Rudy's incredibly passionate statement.

We had a proper chat with chaat and if you ask me, it went great. We even made a group chat.

"What should be the group name?" Aiden asks

"Hmmm........The Chaos Creators?" I say but everyone looks at me weirdly. "What? It's a good name." I say crossing my arms. Apparently, not everyone has taste.

"Guys, I got to go. Ohh, and exclude me from the group. I don't prefer these kind of chats." Hira says and Brynne tries to protest but Hira cuts her off with a hug and leaves.

"Ok, now group names, please." Mini requests.

"Magnificent Maniacs?" Rudy says.

"Not bad but we need more options to choose from." Mini says.

"The Potatoes" Brynne finally pipes up.

Aiden and Mini stared at Brynne like she was alien while Rudy didn't seem to care.

"What? Potatoes can be mashed, boiled, roasted, fried, steamed, microwaved and sliced. It can be made into chips, french fries and so many other delicacies." Brynne says.

"Ok let's vote!" I say. "All for potatoes?" I ask and raise my hand along with Brynne.

"All for Magnificent Maniacs?" Mini says raising her own hand and so does Rudy.

"That leaves you Acharya" Brynne says.

"I don't do sides. I won't choose" Aiden says.

"Dude just choose one" Rudy says but Aiden just glares at him.

"I. Don't. Do. Sides." He said narrowing his eyes then fiddling with his camera again.

"Mins, please, it's just a group name. We can change it later if we need to." I say. Then whispered to her, "I'll do whatever you say, I'll be like your puppet for a day."

"5 days." She negotiates.

"2 days." I say.

"Three." She decides and we shake on it.

"What just happened?" Aiden asked.

"I just made a deal that I will do anything that Mini asks for." I say 

"For 3 days" Mini adds.

"For a name?" Aiden asks shaking his head "What's wrong with you, Shah?"

"Do want the list orally or on paper?" I reply. Aiden looks like he's so done with me. I grin at him.

"Ok so it's settled then. We are The Potatoes!" I say happily.

"Yay!!" Mini says sarcastically

"That was fun!" I say and Mini nods.

"Aru?"

"Mom?" I say, surprised cause she was supposed to be on her business trip.

"Heyyy." She wraps me in a hug, "Aru, I need to talk to you."

idek wat this chap is. like how do ppl even read this mess of a.....thing. this is bad, i gave up on editing TvT

i pray for y'all sanity and if this book is the reason u lose it, you cannot sue, i repeat, you cannot sue.

and to all those who endured this pain of a book-
i love thee and aspire to be thee.
