“Where are we?” Wei Wuxian questioned as he opened his eyes, blinking against the sudden brightness.

“It looks like a temple,” Lan Xichen replied, his gaze sharp as he scanned their surroundings, taking in the ancient architecture.

“Wei Wuxian!” A woman in purple screamed from behind them, her voice filled with both relief and panic.

“Mom? What are you doing here?” Jiang Yanli asked, her confusion echoing in her voice as she turned to face her mother.

“What’s this place?” Jin Guangyao questioned, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed the strange surroundings.

“Why is everyone here?” Nie Huaisang stammered, on the verge of passing out again, clutching his head as if trying to make sense of it all.

“A random array appeared, and now we’re here,” Jiang Fengmian replied, his voice steady but carrying an undercurrent of worry.

“Same thing happened to us,” Nie Mingjue added, glancing warily around the space.

“We were also brought here by an array,” Madam Jin exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock.

Suddenly, a loud thud interrupted the conversation.

“Ouch!” Zizhen yelped as he hit the ground, with Jin Ling landing heavily on top of him.

“Aaah!” Jin Ling screamed as Sizhui fell on him, followed closely by Jingyi.

“Just get up!” Jin Ling yelled, flustered as they realized they were no longer on solid ground. Quickly, the boys helped each other to stand, dusting themselves off in the process.

“Why did we end up here?” Zizhen muttered, finally recognizing their surroundings. His eyes widened in realization. “This is Dafan Mountain... we’re in the Temple of Dafan.”

A heavy silence fell over the group as the significance of the place sank in. This temple, once home to a possessed heavenly maiden, had a dark history of extracting the souls of worshippers in exchange for granting their desires.

“It’s all because of this un-lan,” the boy in yellow muttered, glaring accusingly.

“Guys, behind you!” Zizhen’s voice trembled, his eyes widening in fear as he looked past them.

“What’s behind—” Jin Ling began, but his voice faltered as he turned and froze.

A group of unfamiliar faces stared back at them, equally confused.

“Who are you, young masters?” Lan Xichen asked calmly, though his voice betrayed a hint of unease. The others remained silent, equally baffled by the appearance of these strangers.

“A-die, what are you saying?” The boy who had been called *un-Lan* asked, his tone filled with disbelief.

Lan Xichen’s face drained of color, his soul seemingly leaving his body as the words sank in. For a few moments, he seemed too stunned to react. Everyone around him gasped, their eyes widening in shock, even Lan Zhan’s. Lan Qiren coughed up blood, his face turning pale as his rage boiled over.

“What nonsense is this?!” Lan Qiren shouted, his voice booming with fury.

“Zu Shufu, I know I shouldn’t have snuck out, but you can’t disown me!” Lan Jingyi pleaded, his eyes filling with tears as he looked up at his elder.

“Yes, Zu Shufu, we’re truly sorry,” Lan Sizhui added, bowing deeply. His robes, eerily similar to Lan Zhan’s, fluttered with the motion.

“Whom did you just call *a-die*?” Wei Wuxian asked, his tone cautious as he tried to confirm what he had just heard.
