Aileen pov

I woke up late as usual. After my morning routine,I went  downstairs to see the family eating. My twin looked up and smiled"You're awake"and that got my parents attention and looked up at me"Come join us for breakfast"Dad said and I walked over to them sitting close to Eileen "Are you okay?"Mom asked

Why shouldn't I be?

"Of course,I am"

Eileen cleared her throat and continued eating.
Am I missing something?

"Really?It doesn't seem like it considering what happened yesterday"mom said and I replied "What happened yesterday?"and Eileen gave me the ' what the fuck' look.

"Don't you remember?"She asked and I shook my head "Your birthday party. I mean ours" and it all came sinking in. From Tommy giving me gifts to him cheating on me and I felt my heart shattering in pieces.

Why am I so hurt?

"Well it's not...I just don't care"I said to them"What really happened Aileen?"dad asked and I froze cause dad won't take it easy on him so I started thinking of a lie.

"Um...you see... it's..."then Eileen cut me off"Tommy cheated on her and she caught him at the party" such a blabber mouth.

nd everywhere became like a graveyard no one wanting to say anything.

"He did what?"dad asked after processing what my twin said "Dad, it's nothing really. I wasn't really hurt by it. Guess I never really liked him"I said to him almost like to myself then dad brought out his phone"What's the jerk's name again?"He asked and I quickly grabbed his hand "Dad,let it go. I'm not hurt so just... please" I pleaded because I knew what he was about to do. He may call our principal and ask him to kick him at of school and I don't want that.

I don't want him to leave without tasting my wrath.

I smiled inwardly. "We'll talk about this later. You're late for school"He said and a small"oh"escaped my lips. I forgot for a sec that I was going to school.

Dad got up saying"I'll give you guys a ride. I'm waiting"he said and walked out and I got up quickly. I haven't even gotten ready and I dashed off to my room. I looked through my closet and picked something casual

"You look good"Eileen complimented and I smiled"You don't look bad yourself. You're dressed like a badass" and she laughed. She was wearing a light purple crop top and mini skirt

We got into dad's car and he drove off.

*****After the long ride,we reached our destination and bid dad farewell. Immediately we got to the hallway, someone jumped on my shoulder and there's one person who normally does this.

I turned quickly and was ready to push her away but that thought left my head when I saw who it was.

"Hey, Eunice. What's up?"I said with a big smile and she replied"I'm doing great."and Eileen added"How was the wedding?" "It was superb. How about your birthday party?" Terrible. "Awesome" and she nodded."Sorry I wasn't able to come. You know I wouldn't miss it "she said calmly and I replied"I know so there's no need for you to feel guilty."Scarlet should.

"So what did I miss yesterday?"she asked as we were walking to class"Nothing interesting""Oh come on, Aileen. You can't tell me nothing happened. So what did that bastard give to you?"She asked and I knew who she was referring to.

All my friends hated Tommy and I had wished I did the same but I hate him now. He's now my past. Scarlet was the worst of 'em. She hated Tommy to the bone or so I thought.
"Earth to Aileen"Eunice said and that brought me out of my thoughts"What's in your mind?"and I shook my head"It's just that school is a bitch"and she laughed and she scanned through the hallway. "What are you looking for?"Eileen asked her and she replied"Scar. She's running late. That's rare" and I sighed"I'm going to class"and she stopped me "What are you doing?We all normally go to class together and she waits for us as well and class hasn't even started. I don't know where you're rushing to and I just scoffed inwardly"We're in different classes"I said again and she grunted in frustration"Since when has that ever mattered. You know what, you're acting strange. Did something happen yesterday?"she asked again and I decided to tell her"You see...what happened was that..."and she cut me off when she screamed in excitement"Scar"I looked over and saw her and she looked at us and her gaze fell on me especially and Eunice went to her.
