Aileen pov

My twin and I were on our way to class when Eunice walked up to us.

"Good morning"she said putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Oh, you're here. Quite late"Eileen said

Eunice looked at her "Can you imagine that Aileen called me after school asking for Daniel's number?"she asks.

"Oh, did you tell him?"Eileen asked me ignoring Eunice question.
"It's no news to you?"Eunice asked her and she hummed in response.

"Yeah, I told him"I answered Eileen.

"So, did he accept?"Eileen asked

"Can someone tell me what's going on?"Eunice asked slightly raising her voice.

I decided to tell her. "Um, he's going to be my tutor"and her eyes widened.
"What? Tutor?"she asked in shock.

"Yeah. I didn't get my allowance for this month because of my performance in school. My mom said she wouldn't give me my allowance if I fail the next exam. That's it. Satisfied?"I explained to her.

She gasped. "Woah. Aunt Emerson is the best"and I glared at her.
She shrugged "What? Your mom did the right thing. That's the only way to make you study. Look, Eileen's grades are great so why would you be any different?"she asked.

"You're my friend and you should be on my side"I stated

"I'm on your side. Don't get me wrong"and I rolled my eyes.

"So you'll be broke for now"Eileen added.

"I'm not broke. Just taking a break"I said defensively and Eunice chuckled.

"The next exam is like three months away. Can you manage?"Eunice asks

I smiled sheepishly. "Of course. I have Eileen"and she scoffed.

"So, how much did you offer him?"Eunice asked me.

"Eighty thousand dollars"I stated and they both turned their heads to me.
"Eighty thousand dollars?Eighty thousand... You got to be kidding me"she exclaimed.

"How can you offer that much? it's just for three months"my twin added.

"I was desperate, okay?He never wanted to do it so the only way to convince him is money"I said.

"And what makes you think he's going to be a good teacher? Because he answered few questions in class and solved some problems for you, you think he's super intelligent?"Eileen asked

"Yeah, he fucking is. I just know that and I also heard the teachers talking about it. Why are you getting so worked up? It's my money and I can even beg Dad for it"I said.

"Damn, girl. You should have given me the job instead"Eunice said and my twin and I laughed wholeheartedly.

"If you tutor her,not only would her allowance be seized, she'll be disowned"Eileen said and I continued laughing.

"That hurt. Really"she said putting her hand in her chest.

"Aileen, Eileen, Eunice and Scarlett"We heard a voice and we turned our attention to the owner of that voice.

"Oh, Scar isn't here"the voice added. I smiled when I realized who it was.

"Chase, you're back."I said

"Yeah,I am"I noticed Eileen was holding a smile and I laughed inwardly and Eunice just put up a straight face.

"Did I tell you?"I asked him

"Tell me what?"

"Sorry about your loss. I heard about your mother"and he gave me a small smile.

"It's ok."He turned to Eileen.
"Long time, Eileen"he said to her.

"Yeah. Long time indeed. I'm still surprised you're able to differentiate us"Eileen said and he laughed.

"You should get going. Class is starting soon"He winked at Eileen and left and she released a deep breath.

"Shit. I couldn't breathe. What was that"she asked and I nudged Eunice who seemed frozen.

"What's up with you?"I asked her.

"Is it just me?"

"What?"

"Chase got more handsome. His grey eyes are sparkling"Eunice  said and I just shook my head.
Eunice looked at Eileen and said to her.
"I'm not stealing him away from you so don't kill me with your eyes"and Eileen rolled her eyes.

"Since Chase is back,does it mean Sabrina is too?"I ask no one in particular.

"Well,I guess"they said in unison.
