ADALI JUMPED UP FROM HER BED and froze for a moment at what she saw. Her old room. There were boxes of jewellery and cosmetics on the dressing table by the window, her favourite blanket on the wide sofa, and books on the stool. Everything remained the same.

Horrified, the woman covered her mouth with her hand. But the realisation came quickly, here she was alone, without her son and there was no telling how much more time had passed. She jumped up from the bed and rushed to the door, but it was locked, she was held like a prisoner.

- Hey, I know someone's standing there, I want to see my father now! - Adali banged on the door and shouted.

For an hour she tried to get someone's attention, but nothing.
She went to the mirror and saw not Adali Snow, but a woman with dishevelled hair that hadn't been washed in days, wrinkled clothes and a puffy face. It wasn't her.

But something caught her eye outside the window. As she got closer, she spotted the gardener mowing the lawn and Adali remembered running away from Finnick's house. Waiting for the gardener to finish his work Adali began to act, she knew the balcony was locked, but she always kept a lock pick in her lock box for such occasions. Carefully opening the door she stepped onto the balcony and sighed. Next came the hard part. Adali climbed up onto the ledge and clung closely to the wall until she noticed the columns. When she reached them the woman deftly moved from the ledge to the column and slowly began to climb down. It all took her at least fifteen minutes, but soon she was at her destination, where she just had to jump into the bushes. The jump was quite painful, because now there were roses growing there with thorns on their stems. She came out all scratched up.

Always looking around, Adali started to move towards the hole in the fence and she would have made it if she hadn't heard her greatest childhood fear. The dogs of Julianus, her older brother.

Adali is Snow's youngest child. Her older brother Julianus was a spineless man and always listened to his father and lacked a mother's love. Coriolanus did not live long with his first wife - about two years. When Julianus was a year old, she died. His father later married Messalina Willford, but she was executed for an unknown reason. Coriolanus eventually married Evangeline Stone, who bore him Adalia eighteen years ago. Julianus didn't like his stepmother or his younger sister very much, all these years later Adali suspected he was the one involved in her mother's many miscarriages. As a child Adali was told that her older brother tried to argue her with poison, good thing the nanny wasn't completely stupid and stopped it in time. Since then, she has not been able to take her older brother sensibly.

And the dogs were getting closer. Their barking could be heard from everywhere and no matter how fast she was, they would still catch up with her.

- Look who came home," the dogs were literally breathing in her face, drooling. - We missed you, little Lee.
