Phelebotomy- the act of romoving blood from a patient using a needle.

You and Angela had been trying to have a baby for months and nothing worked so you both made the decision to take a break from trying for a little bit

"Hey Ange I have to go to the hospital early there was a massive car crash" you said rushing to get all your things "okay be safe I love you" Angela said before she kissed you on the cheek " I love you too" you said feeling guilty but technically you didn't lie to her there was a big car crash but they didn't call you in, to help. you had to tell this little white lie because you missed your period it's been 2 weeks since your period was supposed to come

You went to the store and bought a pregnancy needing to know right away meant that you would just do it in the convenience store bathroom

You waited for what felt like days until your timer rang signaling you that it was time to look and the potentially life changing stick
Positive is all it read " this can't be possible we stop trying two and a half month ago how can this be possible" you said in shock it was 7:30 you had ten minutes to get to the hospital to take tour blood and see if this was real.

Once you got to the hospital you ran to the phlebotomy station "I need a pregnancy kit" you aid showing the phlebotomist your badge "okay hold on please let me check this and then you'll be good to go" she said already typing in the last few digits on you card noticing you looking anxious

"Here you go ma'am your badge and one pregnancy kit" the phlebotomist said with a small smile " thank you so much" you said while running away. You ran to a examination room before you sat down and put the needle in your arm while squeezing the ball in your hand you thought about all the thing you could do with you baby girl you could have tea party's and go on dates and then you thought about all the things you could do with your baby boy like play catch and annoy Angela you then looked down realizing that your blood was done being drawn you the took it to the lab.

You told the lab techs to put this order in first while you were checking on all of your patients you go paged to the lab to come get you test after reading all the medical mumbo jumbo you realized that you were pregnant. You then started to cry and cry and cry realizing that it finally happened you finished the day early saying that you didn't feel very well your boss sending you home immediately you got the two pregnancy test ready and waited for Angela to get home you occupied yourself by cleaning watching TV and the suddenly you heard the door unlock

"Hey Ange" is all you said while smiling so brightly she just kissed you and said " what got you in such a happy mood" there is a present for you on the counter she opened it and she said " are you serious you not joking around right" you could form word so you just violently shook your head no she picked you up and spun you around "we are going to make great parents darling" she said while crying " I know we are" you said while looking at her and touching your stomach.
