Your day had started off great. You woke up next to the most beautiful girl in the world and work was going great until you had getten the call. "Hello" you said as you answered the phone. " Is this Ms. Y/n l/n" "this is she you said with anxiety ridden in your voice.

"Yes, well you are the first person on Ms. Bailey Nunes emergency contact list I'm sorry but she is currently in the hospital we can provide you with more information once you get here the hospital is Douglas Shaw memorial hospital" The man on the other side of the phone said before you said "Okay thank you I will be there as soon as possible." You then grabbed your bag and your keys and went to the hospital.

You then showed up at the front desk of the hospital filled out some papers and was directed towards Bailey's door your heart hurt seeing her unconscious. The thought of losing her was like a punch to the gut you didn't know what to do bailey has been there for you since you had met. You watched her chest rise and fall before the doctor came in.

"Are you Ms.l/n" the doctor asked "yes I am could you please tell me what happened to her" you said while your eyes started to water. "Ms. nune was in a fire and while trying to save one of the people in the building she took off her mask to save their person and she now has severe smoke inhalation." the doctor said before she left

You had waited and waited until suddenly bailey had woken up "hey baby" bailey said with a small smile on her face "hey how are you feeling ms.im the hero you said joking with her " I feel like I just inhaled a bunch of smoked" she said before she slightly chuckled before she started to cough. "They said they need to make sure you'll be okay to go home before you can get out of here so we will be here for a while" you said while looking at her with concern

"hey I'm okay you don't need to worry I'm okay now" bailey said before putting her hand on your cheek your eyes start to water a little before putting you head down so she wouldn't see you cry " I'm sorry I shouldn't be crying this didn't happen to me it happened to you" you said before you you wiped your tears

"hey you don't have to hide from me yeah it happened to me but you were the person who was sitting there as you waited for me to wake up it happened to you too not in the same way but it did" bailey said while looking at you longingly

"come here"gesturing for you to get in the hospital bed with her "it's okay" is all she said before you feel asleep as she rubbed your back.
