"You have such beautiful eyes, did anyone ever tell you that?"
Just a few hundred guys.
This conversation has gotten no where. In the span of 5 minutes this guy has managed to give me a compliment in every sentence and each time bore me even more.
"So what're your likes or dislikes?" He asks, leaning in even more.
"Why don't we do this interview another time. I'm gonna go." I say standing up with the cup in my hand.
I throw my head back, downing the rest of my drink. If these were the types of guys I had to deal with for the rest of the night I rather not be sober and miserable having to listen to them.
"Hey, how's it going with that guy? You heading upstairs?" Quinn finds me, smiling ear to ear like usual.
"Only for a nap because his talk was so uninteresting it almost put me to sleep."
"I know right. The guys here are pretty boring." She agrees but she always agrees with whatever I say.
"Are you drunk?" I ask her although I know she's not.
She shakes her head "nah"
"Let's go grab more drinks." I walk through the crowd into the kitchen.
Stevan is there he's a year older than everyone here, he's known for getting the alcohol at parties. He's hot with the whole tattoo and muscles vibe but he's a lover boy.
"Hey Anna." He nods, acknowledging me.
"Hey." I reach for a bottle, reading the label before pouring whatever it was into my cup.
"Who's she?" He asks looking at Quinn.
Quinn smiled shyly besides me almost hiding behind me.
"Quinn, that's Stevan." I introduce them. I know Quinn is into that whole bad boy thing so they'll probably hit it off.
I chug the rest of my cup before pouring some more into my cup and walking away. I knew Kenny from school and some of his friends but the rest were randoms.
I came to this party for a distraction but so far it's just been lame. I regretted not staying home, but I'd just make the most of it and get drunk.
