I wasn't going to be mad forever

I wasn't going to be mad forever. I just wanted Jude to learn his lesson, I'm not one to just be toyed with. Sure I guess I had some fault in everything too but admitting that out loud is a lot harder than it seems.

Since the party, my life has almost gotten back to normal. Everyone that used to talk to me before was again. Except for all the people who I found out were talking shit behind my back, there's no way I was going to pretend to be friendly with them.

When Kate showed her face on Monday, everyone stared at her as she walked to the principals office with her mother. I made sure to be there early just to watch her humiliation. It was definitely pleasant to see, I enjoyed every hint of embarrassment on her face.

She did end up sending me the video she had of Roy and I which I deleted for good. I didn't know if Roy knew but I decided it was safer for the both of us if the video didn't exist at all. It was a long time ago anyway and we were being careless.

So now that Kate was officially out of the picture for good, that meant I could finally return to my normal life. Except things were a lot different now, the things that used to be important to me just aren't that important anymore. I didn't care about impressing everyone or trying to over achieve myself. Things were started to turn out well.

But then there was Jude, just when I think he's given up, he doesn't. He said hello to Quinn and I when he walked into the classroom but I just ignored it. I think it was his turn to learn that there were serious consequences to his actions.

Plus, maybe I liked seeing the way he was dying without me. I liked knowing he needed me. It made ignoring him way much more fun. Everywhere I went I could feel his stare on me, why couldn't he have been this clingy when Kate was around, I don't know.

"Anna? Mrs. Porter wants to see you in her office." Mr. Dixon says to me as he slides me a hall pass.

"What do you think it's about?" Asked Quinn.

"I don't know." Maybe it was something about Leah or Kate.

I mean Leah only ended up getting away with an expulsion of a few weeks but maybe she wanted more details. I walked to the office and got serious deja vu of the last time I was here. Luckily this time, my dad wasn't here.

"Good morning, please sit." Mrs. Porter says pointing at the chair as she drew her eyes from her computer screen.

"So, good news." She intertwined her hands together in front of her.
