"You think you're different to me, don't you?" I tilt my head, staring at each other's lips.
Without breaking eye contact, he slowly stands, making him in control with the advantage in height. I'm the one looking up at him now.
"And you...

I was stubborn, yes. I made Jude feel invisible for a whole week. I didn't look in his direction at all or say a word for just a week. Unfortunately we both gave in too soon and if there's one thing I've been hearing a lot is, I need to start allowing myself to feel.
I was over the snappy replies and the back and forth ignoring each other. I wanted to see if what I was feeling was real. If Jude was real or if he was just something my mind has taken a temporary like to. I didn't know the difference between a fling and a real interest. I don't remember the last time I ever felt something serious for a guy.
We came up with a plan, we were going to give this a chance. I was afraid shitless, I never got vulnerable especially not with a guy. This was all new to me and with everything that had happened, you can't blame me for feeling afraid. I didn't trust Jude yet. Right now he just like any other guy, just slightly special.
But I guess I have to do my part too and put in effort. That's why when he told me we would both spend time doing what the other enjoys doing, I agreed.
I didn't know where exactly he had in mind to take me. But it would finally answer the question of where he liked spending his time. There was only a handful of things I actually knew about him, but it was simple things. He doesn't know anything about me, that's where my fear comes in. What if he didn't like who I was.
"Nice to see you again Annalise." Jude's father said as we walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning, I hope you don't mind me coming this early." I said feeling like I was intruding.
Jude made me get up at seven in the morning and took me to his house. I don't know what he told his dad about me but I didn't want to give too much away.
"Of course not. No worries. I'll be downstairs, okay buddy?" He pats Jude on the shoulder.
"We're heading out soon, I just had to change." Jude said before heading to the fridge.
"Have fun guys, good to see you Annalise." His father said and I waved at him.
The kitchen was vibrant, just like the whole house. I enjoyed every room I walked into, everything was perfectly decorated. I watch Jude make a smoothie and begins blending it in the blender.
"Do I get to know what it is you like spending your weekend doing now?" I asked staring at his back.
He smiles slightly as he turns down the blender and stops so he puts his attention on me. "Sorry, what did you say?"
