I don't know how many things crossed my mind when thinking about what Anna likes to do for fun.

It was clear that we were opposites in terms of introvert and extrovert. Earlier at her house, she had me wait in her room while she changed her clothes three times. Her final call was on a short jean skirt and a white tied top that showed some of her cleavage.

Her version of fun was being surrounded by hot, sweaty bodies as loud music blasted through the room. She took my hand as she took me through the house, peoples heads turned at the sight of us together. I liked the way Anna held my hand, it showed that I was hers.

The loud music hurt my ears but it wasn't bad enough to the point where I had to leave. I wanted to do this, live a day in Anna's shoes. Shoes that were four inches high, she wore black heels.

"Here" she handed me a drink in a red cup once we reached the kitchen.

"Shouldn't one of us stay sober?" I asked but I was going to anyway. I couldn't be too secure here, especially if we were both drunk. Someone might take advantage of her.

"Just have one drink." She said, nudging the cup closer to me.

I took one sip while she downed her first cup.
This setting felt awkward for me. I wasn't used to being around this many people or drinking or even dancing. I didn't do any of that.

"Hey An, long time no see. Where've you been?" I didn't like the way this random man came in, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Or the way he gave her nickname, a nickname.

"She's been with me." I said quickly pulling her towards me so his arm fell off her shoulders.

"Didn't see you there. Come find me later if you wanna have fun." He nods in her direction before slithering into the crowd.

"What does he mean?" I asked her but have was no longer focused on him.

"Probably not what you think. I'm gonna get a beer." She said before moving around.

I didn't recognize anyone else here, I assumed this would be a house party of someone from the same school but I was wrong. If anything, these people looked like college students more than high schoolers. I wondered how Anna knew the people here.

By the time I'm looking for her, she was gone. Her presence in the kitchen where she just was was left empty and slight panic lights itself inside me before I caught a glimpse of those brown locks.
