Jungkook and Taehyung are chilling in Taehyung's shared room when Jimin dramatically bursts in, his face twisted with anger, as per usual.
"Why so worked up this time?" Taehyung sighs, secretly frustrated that their precious hangout time is being cut short.
"You know what it is. Min Yoongi. His mere existence just pushes my buttons," Jimin replies, not as livid as yesterday. If Taehyung has a scale to measure Jimin's "I-hate-Min-Yoongi-so-much-that-I'm-mad" days, today would be pretty low on the chart.
"Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention," Jungkook interjects, instantly grabbing the attention of the gossip enthusiasts. "Yoongi was blabbering about you the other day." In an instant, Taehyung and Jimin are perched next to Jungkook on the bed, eagerly awaiting more details.
Taehyung has the overwhelming urge to punch Jungkook for saying something that could potentially make Jimin explode with rage. But then again, he also loves juicy gossip. He can't just brush off what Jungkook said; he needs to know more.
Yoongi talking about Jimin is a first. What on earth can he say?
"And he just casually discussed me in front of you? Doesn't he know we're friends?" Jimin scowls, trying his best to control his anger. Why would Yoongi even bother talking about him?
"Hoseok was at our dorm, and they happened to mention you. They must've thought I was asleep or something," Jungkook shrugs as he explained.
"What did they say?" Jimin stands up again, acting as if he were ready to confront Yoongi then and there.
"They said something about you being embarrassed. Yoongi knows you can't stand the sight of him. I mean, how can he notice?" Jungkook sarcastically adds. "Oh, and when Hoseok left, Yoongi couldn't stop muttering your name for some reason."
"I knew it!" Jimin exclaims, pure determination shining in his eyes. "I knew he was gearing up for a fight! But you know what? I can take him!"
"Oh?" Taehyung smirks mischievously.
"In a match, you jerk! I meant in a fight! He acts all tough, but I can take him down, I swear!"
"Jimin, just lower your voice, and please stop saying 'I can take him.' First, you probably can't, and second, it sounds weird," Taehyung scrunchs up his face, prompting Jimin to give him the middle finger in response.
"Hyung, I think he was just saying your name because he had, um, you on his mind," Jungkook attempts to explain, only to be cut off by Jimin's determination.
"I'm going to fight him right now," Jimin declars adamantly. "He better be prepared!"
And before either Jungkook or Taehyung can stop him, Jimin storms out of the room, his footsteps echoing down the hallway.
Now, that is definitely not how Taehyung imagined their hangout would go. But hey, at least it's entertaining.
It's the first time Jimin wants to confront Yoongi. He is excited to see how it plays out.

Jimin stares at the gym locker room, feeling completely out of his element. He has no clue what he's doing here, searching for Yoongi. I mean, seriously? Jimin is more accustomed to running away from Taehyung's pranks or unleashing his dance moves on stage. The closest he's ever been to a gym is when he's watching workout videos on his phone while inhaling a bag of chips.
As Jimin takes a whiff of the pungent gym smell, he wrinkles his nose in disgust. "Does it always smell this bad here?" he mutters to himself, trying to ignore the sight of half-naked guys flexing their muscles. It's a ridiculous situation, considering Jimin hardly knows a thing about working out.
Just then, Hoseok catches sight of Jimin, still struggling to put on his shirt. He furrows his brow in confusion, clearly aware that Jimin isn't a regular gym-goer. "What's Jimin doing here?" Hoseok nudges Yoongi, pointing at the lost figure in the locker room. Both of them share a puzzled expression.
"Do you think he's looking for you?"
"Why would he be looking for me?" Yoongi asks, voicing his thoughts.
Hoseok shrugs, still observing Jimin's antics. "Well, Jungkook and that Taehyung aren't here, so it's probably about you."
Yoongi considers Hoseok's point for a moment before shaking it off, grabbing his gym bag, and preparing to leave. Hoseok follows suit, curiosity getting the better of him.
Meanwhile, Jimin has spotted Yoongi and can't contain his anger any longer. "You!" he shouts, grateful that he finally found his target. Although, on closer inspection, Yoongi seems bigger than Jimin remembers. Has he always been that imposing?
Jimin's outburst grabs the attention of everyone in the room, instantly silencing the chatter. All eyes are on the small, loud guy pointing his finger accusingly at Yoongi. Sensing the tension, Yoongi and Hoseok approach Jimin.
As Yoongi and Jimin lock eyes, they take in each other's presence. Yoongi notices the faint freckles on Jimin's cheeks, a detail he's never noticed before. The silence makes Jimin doubt his approach, realizing that he's unintentionally attracted everyone's attention. Before he can retreat, Yoongi takes charge.
"What's the matter? You never seen an angry guy before?" Yoongi retorts sharply, effectively dismissing the onlookers. The room resumes its lively atmosphere, and Yoongi begins walking away with Hoseok. Jimin hurries to follow, determined not to let Yoongi evade him.
"Hey!" Jimin calls out, catching up to Yoongi in the hallway. He stops, facing him once again. "Why are you avoiding me? Are you scared?" Jimin crosses his arms, a gesture intended to make him appear tough and unyielding.
Jimin may seem small in stature, but he doesn't want Yoongi to mistake his determination for weakness. His goal is to prove his strength and, hopefully, challenge Yoongi to a fight.
"I'm avoiding you? You're the one who ran away when I tried to help," Yoongi recalls, a hint of amusement playing on his lips as he notices Jimin's ears turning red in embarrassment. Jimin, like a small fluffy ball, is brimming with anger and hatred for some unknown reason.
"I coolly walked away because you were just trying to make me look weak in front of all those people. Which, by the way, I could've easily handled Jinsu on my own!" Jimin retorts, his voice laced with a mix of defiance and frustration.
"It didn't look like it," Yoongi mumbles, unable to hide his fascination with Jimin's fiery spirit. "And I was just trying to help. I didn't mean to make you look weak."
"Excuse me?" Jimin scoffs, his eyebrows furrowing. "Is this an apology?"
Yoongi smirks playfully. "Is it?" he pretends to ponder, testing the limits of Jimin's patience.
"Well, whatever! I don't care! I'm here to fight you," Jimin declares, determined and unyielding.
Yoongi stifles a chuckle and glances at Hoseok, who shares his surprise at the sudden turn of events. "Fight?" Yoongi questions, attempting to contain his laughter, as Jimin lunges at him without any warning.
Fists fly, punches meet their targets, and kicks are aimed at vulnerable spots. Jimin unleashes his flurry of attacks, each blow fueled by his determination to prove himself. Despite his best efforts, Yoongi barely flinches, frustrating Jimin even more.
Unwilling to engage in a fight, Yoongi tries to push Jimin away, the absurdity of the situation not lost on him. Why are they fighting in the first place? It's ridiculous.
"Ow! Stop," Yoongi yelps, feeling the stinging pain of Jimin's punches land.
Hoseok, unable to resist the hilarity of the situation, joins in to intervene. Jimin's pure determination to win radiates through as he even manages to land a jab or two in Hoseok's direction.
