The compartment door slid open as James started bombarding Remus with questions and facts about quidditch. James and Monty had spent the majority of the summer playing quidditch and going to multiple games, Maggie stayed home for most of these, still not that interested in the topic, and as she noticed Remus start to become awkward about the topics she knew he had little to no interest in the sport as well. She smiled before turning to the sound of the compartment door sliding open.

"Hi there! Mind if we sit here with you guys there's not really any open seats left."

Another pale boy with short black curls sitting on top of his head asked the group. He seemed familiar, but Maggie couldn't quite place where she'd seen him before, but his pale blue greenish eyes reminded her they had met. He didn't seem to notice her the way she did him so she let the idea go.

Next to him was a shorter chubbier boy, with short blond hair. He carried many sweets in his arms, probably courtesy of the train trolly. He stood quietly slightly behind the other boy, not saying anything but awaiting the groups response.

" Oh! I'm Sirius Black by the way, and this is my BEST friend- What did you say your name was?"

Black. That's why she recognized him, they had probably seen each other at some point in their childhood, but she never talked to him or anyone from the Black family to be fair. She knew they were purebloods like herself and James, they never really cared about blood status, didn't think it was fair to be treated differently simply because magic had been in their family for so long. Magic was magic and whoever had it should be treated the same. But she knew that many other Pureblood families didn't think like that, she didn't know whether Sirius thought the same, but she knew she was going to keep an eye on him.

Sirius turned to ask the plump boy behind him. His face quickly heated up turning a bright shade of red.

"Oh.. um P-Peter! Pettigrew. Peter Pettigrew.." He stuttered out.

"My friend Peter here. We just met on the platform." He turned around to face them again, James' face was plastered with a smile, excited to make more friends already. Remus' brow was furrowed but his smile let her know he was amused by the interaction in front of him.

When Margaret noticed no one was going to answer the two boys she stepped up.

"Sure Sirius Black and Petter Pettigrew. You can sit with us, as long as he-" she pointed to the blonde boy behind Sirius.

"-gives me some of those chocolate frogs." She smiled as the boy started blushing more, probably because a pretty girl had acknowledged him.

"Perfect! Hand them over Peter!" Sirius said pushing Peter in front of him, he stumbled a second before looking up at Margaret again before handing over a couple of chocolate frogs to her.

"Thanks! I'm Margaret. That's James, my brother, and Remus, we just met him as well."

Remus gave a small wave before James started bombarding Sirius with questions about his family and quidditch.

Sirius had taken the seat next to James while Maggie was standing and Peter had sat next to him, starting to pick through his pile of candy to see what he wanted to eat first.

Margaret realized the only seat left was next to Remus, who had started staring out the window as the train had begun to move a bit ago.

"Hey." She called out to him, just loud enough for him to hear, not wanting to interrupt her brother's and Sirius' conversation.

He turned to look at her.

"You want one?"

She held up a chocolate frog for him to take as he smiled before plucking the small creature out of her hand, holding onto it tightly so it wouldn't escape.

"Thanks. I love chocolate."

She smiled back at him as he took a bite. She'd make sure to remember that because she had a feeling that they'd be good friends.

Okay new chapter wooo!!! All of my chapters have been pretty short so far but I do really want to start writing longer more in depth chapters, they might take longer to get out so idk yet but we'll see what happens!!
