A mind reader and his husband! Vol. 1

20 - Doodles!

Lunch ends right when Izuku finishes all of his food. Now, he's at his desk, getting his work done. He is still smiling to himself at the events from lunch, now energized. He is going to get all of his work finished so that his boss isn't mad at him anymore, and that way Kacchan doesn't think he's just messing around when he's here. 

Still, he can't help but get a little distracted. He draws something on a corner of one of the pages on his desk. He draws Kacchans spiky hair, trying to get it just right. 

"Um, Bakugou," 

He jumps and looks up at Uraraka, who is standing by his chair. She giggles and tilts her head slightly. 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you! I just had a question about this new project we're supposed to be working on." 

Izuku gives her a polite smile. 

"It's okay, what's up?" 

Uraraka glances at his desk and looks at the small doodles of Kacchan that cover a good part of his paper now. She keeps that smile on her face. 

"Is that your husband? Haha, it looks just like him! When did you two meet again?" 

Izuku is always looking for an opportunity to talk about his husband, and he instantly answers. 

"We met when we were little kids! My mom and his mom were best friends, so we were around each other all the time!" 

Uraraka nods as she listens. 

"That's so sweet... and um... has he always been so... mean? To you, I mean." 

Izuku blinks. 

"What?" 

Uraraka's face flushes and she rubs the back of her neck. 

"I just mean that he seems to be really harsh! I'm sorry if I offended you, really! That wasn't my intention." 

Izuku puts his hands up and smiles. 

"No, no you didn't! That's just how Kacchan is, it doesn't mean he doesn't love me!" 

Uraraka looks at him, her smile flattering. 

"Oh. Well, if you're ha-" 

"Uraraka, did you turn in that part of your project yet?!" 

She jumps and quickly rushes over to where she's needed. Izuku doesn't look after her, turning back in his chair. Toga whistles lowly before leaning back and looking at him. 

"That was weird huh?" 

Izuku looks back at her and nods slightly. 

"I guess it was..."
