*Y/n has no relevance in the first movie, so I left that one out. Though we are going to pretend that nothing romantic happened between Newt and Tina, it was strictly friendly. Also, the picture he carried around of Leta in that movie, lets pretend that was Y/n instead.*

Backstory:

Y/n's mother unknown but her father is quite the opposite. Her father is Grindelwald. When he was young he had a little to much fun with a woman he knew not too well. Y/n was a result of that. Her mother died in childbirth and she got put into custody of Grindelwald. He was only 17 at the time and hadn't began his life of crime. He raised her until she was 9 (1897-1906), 4 years before she attended Hogwarts. During that time, though Grindelwald was her primary carer Albus Dumbledore was a very frequent face in her early childhood and raised her along side Grindelwald. When she was given away, she was given to a couple in Scotland, who were having trouble having a child themselves. They living in a massive estate in the middle of a clearing in a thick forest. The couple took care of many magical plants and were very well known Herbologist in the Wizarding World. Though her father left her, she never felt abandoned. When she was younger they were very close and they did almost everything together, he did truly love her. Even when she was away from him, she received birthday and Christmas presents from him every year, even during her time at Hogwarts, though they were sent directly to her at her dorm late Christmas Eve. She changed her last name from Y/n Grindelwald to Y/n L/n, taking her adopted parents last name. Before her time at Hogwarts, she never had a wand and had never tried any magic, though she knew how it was done, she waited until she was in school to ever attempt anything.
