Manisha opened her eyes as she heard two men talking in hushed voices. Their conversation made her curious, and she strained her ears to listen. One of them exclaimed, "Abhishek Tu pagal hai? Tu ek ladki ghar lekar kyun agaya?"
The other man replied, defending his actions, "woh ek ladki hai Akeli behosh thi. Usse wahi chod doon kya ab main?"Manisha couldn't help but smile as she recognized the voice of the second man.
So, his name was Abhishek. The first man sighed, clearly concerned, and said, "Abhishek, yeh ladki famous hai aur ameer hai. Iske baap ko pata chala toh marega hume"Manisha silently chuckled to herself, finding the situation rather amusing. Abhishek responded with a touch of desperation, "Mujhe nahi pata yaar. Main toh insaaniyat dikha raha tha"
The other man said, " Haan saari insaaniyat Tu hi dikha de".
Taking advantage of the moment, Manisha decided to make her presence known.
She pretended to wake up, slow and groggy, just as Abhishek and the other man turned their attention to her. With an impish grin on her face, she acted as if she was still sleepy, deliberately leaning her head against Abhishek's lap.
Abhishek's eyes widened with surprise, and he gently removed her head from his lap, blushing slightly. Sensing the situation turned slightly awkward, Manisha finally decided to sit up properly, feigning confusion. Kaha par hoon main?" she asked with a bit of innocence.
Abhishek, finding his voice, responded, "Woh actually aap humari dhabe ke saamne behosh ho gayi thi. Maine malik ko bola toh unhone bola isse kahi chod kar ao. Par main apko akela kaise chod deta tha isliye yaha le aya.. Apko koi problem toh nahi hain na? "
Manisha looked up at Abhishek, her eyes brimming with gratitude, and said, "nahi nahi aapke saath toh main poore time rehlo"
Abhishek's eyes widened even more at her unexpected statement. He stammered, "ji? Kya matlab? "
Manisha, taken aback by her own slip of the tongue, quickly composed herself and clarified, "Um, I mean... Aap bahut acche insaan hai na. Mujhe acche insaano ke saath time spend karna accha lagta hai...."
Abhishek nodded, relieved by Manisha's revised response.
"Maam ab aapko ghar jana chahiye aapke papa chinta mei honge," Abhishek exclaimed, concern etched on his face. "Aap kisi ko phone karke bula lijiye"
But Manisha hesitated, her eyes filled with apprehension. "Nahi Abhishek mere papa ko pata chalega ki main yaha par hoon toh problem ho jayegi. Aap mujhe thoda door drop kare"
Abhishek took a moment to consider her request. He understood the gravity of the situation and the risks involved. Nodding solemnly, he replied, "Theeke maam."
Manisha gave a small nod, her gratitude evident in her eyes. "Thank you, Abhishek.."
As they made their way through the city, Abhishek couldn't help but wonder why Manisha hadn't contacted the bodyguards sooner. Sensing his curiosity, he asked her gently, "aap yaha tak kyun ayi? Aur yaha hi kyun ayi? Aap pehle bhi kisi ko bula sakti thi"
Manisha sighed, her voice filled with frustration. "Uss wakt mera phone naho chal raha tha. Ab chal raha hai aur zyada question mat poocho abhi"
Abhishek nodded, understanding that sometimes technology could be unpredictable. He remained silent, focusing on finding a secure location to drop off Manisha in his bicycle.
Finally, they arrived at a secluded spot far away from Abhishek's home. Abhishek stopped his bicycle and turned to face her. "Yaha par theek rahega. Main chup kar dekh lunga ki aap safe ho ki nahi"
A worried smile tugged at Manisha's lips as she looked into Abhishek's eyes. She reached out and held his hand tightly, pulling him into a warm embrace. Abhishek felt a mix of shock and concern, whispering urgently,"umm yeh aap kya kar rahi hai? Koi dekh lega!"
But Manisha silenced him with a gentle shushing gesture. "Shh, Abhishek. Bas pakde raho mujhe." She held him for a few moments before taking a step back and reaching into her bag.
As Abhishek watched, confused yet intrigued, Manisha retrieved a beautiful bracelet she had purchased earlier from the mall.
Abhishek's eyes widened with surprise, He thought maybe Manisha had given him the bracelet as a gesture of gratitude.
With a final smile, Manisha turned to leave, her confidence reignited.
Abhishek decided to stay hidden a while longer, making sure she was safely reunited with the bodyguards before he left.
In the distance, Abhishek watched as several guards arrived in an array of luxurious cars.
Manisha was shivering because she knew what her father will do now but she looked into His eyes and her trembles of fear were replaced by a newfound strength.
