Last day of year gift

Manisha was finally out of her room, her face pale and distant. She hadn't been talking to anyone, and she barely touched her food.

It seemed as if she had locked herself away from the world, spending most of her time in isolation. The despair in her eyes was evident.

Meanwhile, outside the house, Abhishek, approached Nischay with a determined expression on his face. "Sab kuch theek hoga na yaar?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Nischay smacked his head lightly and replied, "Chup kar. Jaldi kar. Kabse yahi khada hua hai."

Taking a deep breath, Abhishek gathered his courage and shouted, "Bansal Rawat, oye pagal Jaldi bahar nikal. Ghochu aadmi!"

The guards, well-armed and vigilant, immediately gathered, pointing their guns at Abhishek. Nischay quickly pulled Abhishek behind him, shielding him from any potential harm.

Bansal Rawat, a man of power and authority, was enraged at being called so disrespectfully. He stormed towards them, beckoning them inside. The guards followed suit, ensuring the safety of their employer.

Manisha, who had been hidden away in her room, heard the voice of her beloved Abhishek. A rush of joy flooded through her as she made her way to the living room. Abhishek's presence never failed to make her heart skip a beat, and she couldn't help but marvel at his undeniable handsomeness. Her Abhishek.

She recalled the warmth of his touch, the comfort of his embrace, and the promises they made to each other

As they were ushered into the room, Abhishek's eyes met Manisha's, and in that moment, he felt as if his heart had come alive once again.

Breathless, he found himself momentarily lost in her mesmerizing gaze. His heart started to race in his chest, thumping so loudly that he could practically hear it.

Ujade se lamhon ko aas teri
Zakhmi dilon ko hai pyaas teri
Har dhadkan ko talash teri
Tera milta nahi hai pata

Their eyes reflected the untold stories, the unspoken words, and the unsaid apologies. In that instant, every unkept promise and every longing was laid bare. And yet, despite the pain and the days that had passed, their eyes also conveyed a glimmer of hope - hope for a chance, hope for a rekindled love.

However, Nischay snapped him back to reality, reminding him of their purpose for being there.

Bansal Rawat, livid with anger, bellowed, "Tumhari himmat kaise hoyi aise baat karne ki? Marna chahte ho kya?"

Abhishek, keeping his composure, regained his confidence and said"Nahi sir marna nahi chahte par job chahte hai yaha par. Main chef aur mera bhai driver bana chahte hai yaha par"

Bansal Rawat, intrigued, raised an eyebrow and quizzically asked, "Aur main kis khushi mei tum logo ko rakhu yaha par?"

Abhishek, knowing he had only one chance to convince Bansal Rawat, carefully chose his words. "Sir, hum pehle Sharma industries mei kaam karte the aapki dushman company. Sharma sir ko toh mere haath ka khana bahut pasand tha aur jaha jaate the Nischay ke sang jaate the. Par hume laga nahi Bansal ji se zyada accha koi nahi ho sakta. Isliye yaha aye hai."

Bansal Rawat, a shrewd businessman, was pleased with the flattery. Despite his demeanor, he had a soft spot for persistence and loyalty. Eventually, he agreed to give them a chance, acknowledging their bold move of leaving their previous employment to join his company.

However, he couldn't help but inquire about the disrespectful approach Abhishek had initially used. With a composed expression, Nischay replied, "Sir, hum apko aise bulana nahi chahte the. Par agar hum apko aise nahi bulate toh kya aap hume aane dete? Hum toh bas yeh chahte the ki aap ek baar humari baat sun lo"

Although initially taken aback, Bansal Rawat couldn't help but appreciate their audacity. He respected their drive and hired them.

The tension in the air was palpable, as the guards stared at Abhishek with suspicion and anger. Suddenly, one of the guards shouted, "Sir yeh wahi hai. Badi maam ka ashiq!" The room erupted in chaos as the guards pointed their guns at Abhishek, ready to bring him down.

Fear gripped Abhishek's heart, and he instinctively raised his hands in surrender. "Ruko please sun toh lo baat baat par bandook utha lete ho," he pleaded, desperately trying to keep his composure.

Gathering his courage, Abhishek took a step forward, his voice filled with regret. "Nahi Manisha ji matlab maam se toh mai bikul pyar nahi karta. Wahi mere peeche ghoomti thi. Maine toh bas unka istemal kiya yaha tak pahuchne mei"

Rawat sauntered forward, casting a disdainful glance towards Manisha, who stood frozen in shock.

"Dekh Manisha Tu iske peeche pagal thi?" Rawat mocked, his cold laughter echoing in the room. "I told you, Manisha, all these poor people are same. Inn sabki niyat hi aisi hai. Tu bhi na beta."

Abhishek's eyes widened at Rawat's revelation. The weight of his actions suddenly crashed down upon him, and his own betrayal cut deep. With a heavy heart, he looked at Manisha, tears welling up in her eyes. Her heartbreak was evident, and Abhishek wished he could turn back time and undo the pain he had caused her.

Rawat's laughter intensified, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Ah, Abhishek. Ab toh tum mujhe aur pasand aa gaye. Waha tum mere favourite ho gaye. Mujhe aise hi log pasand hai.."

In a low voice, he urged his friend to compose himself. "Abhishek, bas sab theek ho jayega."

As Manisha ran off to her room, desperately trying to hide her pain, Abhishek clenched his fists, his eyes turning red with pent-up emotions. He wiped away a stray tear and took a deep breath, determined to regain control.

With Rawat's attention diverted, Nischay whispered to Abhishek, "Bas Abhishek bas. Main hoon na. Sab theek ho jayega."
