Manisha was driving her luxury car at full speed, her favorite music blasting from the speakers.
She was enjoying the thrill of speed and the company of her friends, completely oblivious to any potential dangers on the road. Sunita, one of her friends, nervously whispered, "Manisha, dheere behen Tu bahut fast ja rahi hai!"
But Manisha, lost in the moment, shouted back, "Chup Sunita! Jeene ke hai Char din"
Everything seemed to be going fine until suddenly, the car came to a screeching halt. Manisha's heart skipped a beat as panic washed over her.
She shouted out in frustration, "Shit yaar. Ab woh paagal rawat gussa karega" She kicked her expensive car in frustration, as if it were to blame for her misfortune.
Priya, ever the voice of reason, suggested, "Maybe we should call someone for help?"
Sunita sighed, realizing her options were limited. Reluctantly, she agreed, "Fine, waha par ek chota sa dhabha hai. Waha chalte hai. Theeke? "
Manisha had a look of disgust on her face as she glanced at the humble establishment. "Eww, I'm not going there. Waha se smell bhi aa rahi hogi. Maine nahi jaa sakti aisi jagah"
Sunita, growing tired of Manisha's spoiled attitude, snapped, "Shut up aur ab chal de. We have no other choice."
They made their way to the restaurant and Sunita knocked on the door. A voice echoed from the darkness, "main band karne wala tha. A-apko kuch chahiye?"
As the man stepped into the light, they could see that he was dressed in ordinary clothing and had a slightly dirty face, yet there was a rugged handsomeness to him.
Manisha felt an undeniable connection as their eyes met, but she quickly brushed it off, not wanting to acknowledge her growing attraction to someone below her social status.
Sunita spoke up, "haan humari gaadi kharab ho chuki hai. Hum thodi der yaha ruk sakte hai?"
The man nodded, welcoming them inside. They sat around a cracked wooden table, Manisha stealing glances at the man whenever she thought no one was looking.
The man saw Manisha looking at him and asked, "aapko kuch chahiye?"
Finally, unable to contain her curiosity, she blurted out, " haan aap. Matlab aapka naam kya hai?"
Her friends looked at her in shock. Why was she bothering to talk to a poor boy?
Manisha never associated with people below her status.
The man seemed slightly taken aback by the question. Before he could say anything more, Sunita's phone rang.It was the news they had been waiting for – two engineers, ten bodyguards, and two maids were outside, waiting to assist them.
Sunita quickly dragged Manisha away from that man, their newfound connection abruptly interrupted.
They rushed back to the car and ordered the driver to speed away, leaving behind the small restaurant named "Mulkand Dhaba."
Manisha couldn't help but read the name as they drove off, wondering about the possibilities she had left behind.
The honking of cars and the constant flow of people reminded her of the whirlwind of events that had led her to this moment.
Manisha quickly shook off the thoughts of the man she had just met. She firmly believed that she was way better than him, simply because he was poor.
She couldn't possibly associate herself with someone like him. As she sat in front of the window, lost in her thoughts, her gaze drifted towards the bustling city streets below.
Mulkand dhaba, she mumbled.
Now, the only thing on her mind was not that man or the enchanting encounter they had, but the looming anger of her father.
How would she explain her broken-down car and her reckless behavior?
Today she will surely get scolded from her Father.
