Manisha had a bad day. Again. It seemed like she was trapped in an endless cycle of misery, and she couldn't help but blame her father for it. With a father like hers, how could she ever expect to have a good day?
As Manisha got ready to go to Mulkand Dhaba, her thoughts were clouded with uncertainty.
She wasn't sure if she actually liked Abhishek, but she knew one thing for certain - he was the only person who made her feel happy, the only one who could bring her comfort.
If she didn't see him throughout the day, it was automatically deemed a bad day for her.
With a glimmer of hope in her eyes, Manisha eagerly headed towards Mulkand Dhaba. Much to her dismay, as she approached the entrance, she noticed Abhishek engaged in a conversation with a girl.
Manisha's anger ignited instantly, and thoughts of jealousy consumed her mind. "Wou sirf mera hai chudail!" she muttered under her breath.
Unable to resist the urge to eavesdrop, Manisha stealthily moved closer to hear what they were discussing.
To her surprise, she heard Abhishek say, "Maniya, mere kirayedaar mujhe nikal denge. Unhe koi shaadi shuda mard chahiye."
Maniya, the girl Abhishek was talking to, responded with a reassuring tone, "Chinta mat kar Abhishek. Main hoon na."
Manisha's eyes widened in disbelief. What was happening?
She had half a mind to instruct her bodyguards to beat Maniya for daring to involve herself with Abhishek.
But then, Abhishek spoke up again, shattering Manisha's thoughts. "Nahi Maniya. Main aapse shaadi nahi kar sakta. Main aapse pyar nahin karta," he confessed sincerely.
Maniya's face fell, and she looked crestfallen. But she quickly regained her composure and uttered something that sent shivers down Manisha's spine. "Toh maine thodi kaha mujhse shaadi kar bewakoof. Main teri biwi baneki acting toh kar sakti hoon na," Maniya said with a mischievous smirk playing on her lips.
Abhishek seemed to consider the idea, thinking it over for a moment. "Arre wah yeh toh jabardast idea hai," he responded finally. "Mere ghar kal 10 baje aa jana aur thodi din mere saath rehna padega. Theek hai? "
Maniya eagerly hugged Abhishek once again, her true intentions shrouded in darkness.
Manisha's blood boiled with rage and indignation as she stormed out of Mulkand Dhaba, determined to put an end to this charade.
Manisha was fuming with anger as she sat alone in her room, her thoughts swirling in a whirlwind of frustration.
Sitting alone in her room, Manisha couldn't help but talk aloud to herself. "Shakal se toh itne innocent lagte hai aur yaha lakdiyan pata rahe hai," she muttered under her breath. It was a mix of disbelief and anger that fueled her words.
Next day
Abhishek stood nervously in front of the landowners, his heart pounding with anxiety. It was 11 am, and his pretend wife, Maniya, was nowhere to be seen. She was supposed to arrive by 10 am, and now Abhishek feared the consequences of her absence.
The landowners, Mr. and Mrs. Gupta, were known for their short temper. They had given Abhishek a place to stay in their house on the condition that he would bring his wife along as a tenant. But now, the landowners were beginning to suspect that Abhishek had been lying all along.
"Hume pata tha tumhari koi biwi nahi hai, tum jhoothe ho," Mrs. Gupta scowled, her voice dripping with anger. "Tum gareeb log ek chat ke liye kuch bhi kar sakto. Chahe kisi had tak jana ho"
Abhishek desperately pleaded with the landowners, explaining that Maniya was indeed his wife and there must have been some misunderstanding. But his words fell on deaf ears. Mr. Gupta, furious at what he believed to be deceit, began throwing Abhishek's belongings out onto the street.
As the chaos escalated, Abhishek's heart sank. He couldn't believe his plan had backfired so drastically. His hopes of finding a roof over his head would be shattered if he couldn't prove Maniya's existence.
Amidst the turmoil, a soft, timid voice suddenly cut through the air. "main hoon Abhishek ki wife," it said.
Abhishek turned to see a woman dressed in traditional and poor clothing.Abhishek's eyes widened in surprise.
"Ma'am?" he stammered, trying to make sense of the situation.Authors note
