episode 27: questions

They all settled into their seats, Rose looked around in awe at the decor of the bunker. The walls were adorned with various weapons including swords, knives, and potion bottles. The shelves were stacked with books of magic and potion recipes. She had never seen anything like it before.

Romeo began to recount the events of the past 24 hours, all the while Leon and Sonny listened attentively.

"So, we managed to eavesdrop on the swine mafia meeting and found out they're planning to smuggle anti-magical metal into the Brix district," Romeo said, his voice low and serious. "But then we were caught, and they threw us in jail."

Rose gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. "How did you get out?"

Romeo smirked. "Rose! You were there with me! Anyway, They caught some of the other members inside the factory and their statements lined up with ours, so they let us go."

Leon snickered. "Yeah, wouldn't let that shit happen to me though."

Romeo rolled his eyes. "Anyway, after we got out, we were attacked by a succubus Lady with blue hair."

"A succubus?" Sonny exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief.

Romeo nodded. "Yeah, we managed to kill her… twice."

Leon's mouth fell open. "Twice?"

Rose piped up. "Yeah, turns out she was a powerful one. But we took her down…twice."

Sonny looked around at the both of them in amazement. "You guys are incredible. What's a succubus?"

Romeo smiled. "Thanks, but that's not all. We also met a very scary indigo-haired man with blue fire powers. His name was Pluto and that's not even the most surprising part, he's the indigo ethereal and Moon's twin brother!"

Leon's eyes widened even further. "What the fuck did he want?"

"We're not sure," Romeo said. "But we have a feeling he's not someone we should take lightly."

"I think I need to sit down" Leon said as he walked over to the couch.

Silence fell over the group as they contemplated their next move. They knew they had to do something about the swine mafia's plans, but they also had to figure out how to deal with the indigo-haired man.

Rose looked around at her new friends, feeling a sense of belonging she had never experienced before. .

"We'll figure it out," she said with a determined nod. "Together."

Leon rolled his eyes "who even are you?"

Romeo introduced Rose to his teammates, Sonny immediately jumped up from his seat and greeted her with a warm hug, while Leon remained seated, studying her with a suspicious gaze.

"Nice to meet you, Rose!" Sonny exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. "I like your hair!"

Leon finally spoke up, his voice low and serious. "I don't trust her."

Sonny's smile faltered, and he shot a look at Leon. "What? Why not? She has pink hair! That has to be the most trustworthy thing, evil people can't have pink hair!?"

"New people always bring trouble," Leon said, his eyes narrowing.

Rose, sensing the tension in the room, spoke up. "Oh wow, I feel the same way about clouds. But I promise you, I'm not here to cause any trouble. I just want to help. Unless it's about clouds, then I will not help you."

Sonny beamed at her. "That's great! We could really use your help. I promise you it has nothing to do with clouds!"

Romeo watched the interaction between his friends and Rose, noting how different Leon and Sonny's reactions were. But then he realized something. Rose's positive, bubbly personality reminded him of Sonny. Maybe that's why he was so quick to accept her.
