Astro Armadillo sat down with Aiden Patel, Romeo Patel Martin, and his friend Sonny, hoping to garner their support for his Bishop candidacy. As an experienced politician, Astro knew the influence a well-written piece could have on the election. That's why he had been hoping to convince Aiden to write a piece supporting his campaign.
"Thank you for meeting with me, Aiden. I appreciate your willingness to write the paper." said Astro as he settled down into a chair, the others following suit.
Aiden, who had been deep in thought, replied, "Astro, I've been watching your campaign, and I've come to the conclusion that you're the best candidate for the job. So, count me in. I'm ready to write the paper."
Sonny and Romeo looked relieved. Astro had been stressing about this meeting for days, and their support meant the world to him.
After discussing the political matter, the group continued their conversation, Romeo's friend Sonny was curious about something.
"Astro, you mentioned earlier that you were from Styx District, what was that like for you?" inquired Sonny.
Astro sighed, knowing that the story he was about to tell would not be an easy one. "Styx District is one of the most impoverished areas in Cinnabar City. Growing up there was incredibly difficult. The conditions are tough; the living spaces are small, the streets are always crowded, and the air is never clean."
His words hit Romeo and Sonny hard, and they listened intently as he told them more, the two of them knew first hand how true his words were.
"A lot of people in the district have to work hard to make ends meet, and the only way to survive is to rely on one another. I'm fortunate to have had a supportive community around me, and I know that there's so much that can be done to improve the living conditions of those who live in the Styx."
Astro's passion for helping his community was evident in his voice and Aiden couldn't help but be impressed.
"If given a chance, Astro, what would you do differently for the people of Styx District?" Aiden asked, intrigued.
Astro took a moment to gather his thoughts before answering. "I would like to make the district more sustainable and create more jobs that pay well. I also want to fix the air and water pollution problems. I believe that everyone deserves to live in a safe and clean environment. It's time for someone to step in and make that change, and I hope to be that someone."
Romeo and Sonny nodded their head in agreement, they have always respected Astro, but hearing his story made them admire him even more.
"Styx is only the beginning. Once that's done, I plan to move on to other districts and make the necessary changes there too. I believe that everyone deserves an equal chance to succeed," Astro concluded with a determined smile.
The group fell silent for a moment, pondering the possibilities before them.
"I think you would make an excellent Bishop, Astro," Aiden finally spoke up, his voice indicating his confidence in Astro.
Astro smiled, grateful for the support and ready to take on whatever challenges lay in front of him. "Thank you, Aiden. I won't let you down."
With the political discussion over, Romeo offered to show his friend Sonny his childhood room while Astro and Aiden continued their talk. Excited at the prospect of exploring Romeo's former hangout spot, Sonny eagerly followed him into the bedroom.
The room was painted in a mix of red and brown hues, giving it a cozy yet vibrant feel. A bookshelf dominated one part of the room, and on it, Sonny noticed a set of distinct magical books.
