Nine and his friends had already arrived on Nabu Island and had established their base of operations, which included a place to rest following a battle or hide from the authorities, so my arrival was anticipated.
My Eye of Omega returned with information about which golden age classes 1a and, surprisingly, 1b were present on the island as I was using it to map the island. They have already interfered with our plans twice, so even though they are young, they are a serious threat. If we have to retreat, I will have to employ my backup plan, which will slow or divert them.
Since I don't have many resources on this island, it's just me, Nine, and his team of three quirk users. In addition, my NGYM, which includes the LOV, was plotting a strong alliance with the Meta Liberation Army while I was currently away. In order to guarantee that I will emerge victorious, I will therefore need to employ every skill that I have developed and learned to avoid.
My quirk search helps me find the information I need to learn more about the child and his sister after my Eye of Omega has successfully mapped out the island. The boy's name is Mahoro Shimano, and his elder sister is named Katsuma Shimano.
While our target's sister quirk, Hologram, is useless but helpful as a diversion, our target uses a similar quirk to his father's cell activation, which enables the user to "heal" the person the quirk is applied to.
The students were given the task of performing typical office hero work, which is comparable to minimum-wage police work that involves responding to calls and providing assistance and uses less energy. This, however, focuses on training their relationships with people.
When I arrived in the city to get some food and to explore the area for myself in order to learn the layout of the city, I saw that some students were assisting others and that others, including Katsuki Bakugo and Neito Monoma, were fighting with one another over a disagreement.
All Might's successor, Izuku Midorya, saw my mask as I was leaving and followed me to an open field, where we finally had a face-to-face conversation following our earlier encounter in Hosu City.
"Gazer, what business are you here to conduct? What are you doing here?" The successor was examining my posture and assessing my current level of threat, but I am positive that I saw his friends lurking and observing us from behind him.
"My business here is my own." The successor abruptly assumed his combat stance after becoming surprised by what I had said. "Then, Gazer, I beg your surrender for the greater good."
"Greater good?" I laughed, and he began to shiver. "What is the greater good? simply taking us prisoner and keeping us there because we pose a threat?" "No, because we reject society and do not want to be its slaves; you see us as villains."
"You wanted to protect people, but you can't allow evolution and changes because you're against change, so you don't want it to change." "Therefore, I swore an oath a mission for myself."
"And what would that be?" The successor was stiff but responsive to what I had said. "The notion that heroes no longer exist." Then the heir lunged at me, kicking me in the process. When I turned around and punched back, my armor absorbed the energy, and his arm hurt from punching back at me while he was trying to block it.
Through this interaction, all of his friends from 1A and 1B charge towards me without any kind of plan, just using their numbers to their advantage. However, I remind them that charging an enemy without a plan is always a losing battle.
Using my overhaul quirk, I built jagged pillars to stop them from advancing, inflicting injuries on a few nearby students—the majority of whom were primarily close-quarters hand-to-hand users—and forcing them to dodge the attack.
For a split second, I increased my speed and instantly dispatched all of the nearby students, rendering them unconscious and causing some of their heavy tanking quirk users to fall without even realizing it.
These are, I suppose, their troublemakers, but even my current display of power was insufficient to stop the majority of them from charging at me with their haughtiness, Katsuki Bakugo being one of the few who chose to bomb me with his special attack.
However, his attack produced a great deal of black smoke, which made it difficult for them to see their surroundings. I used this to my advantage, charging my attack towards my fist and punching towards the ground to cause an earthquake, eliminating each of them with a single blow.
The earthquake explosion rendered all of the students unconscious, but I took advantage of the opportunity to scan every student and capture each of their quirks to add to my collection. Thus, I made the decision to abduct the Successor in order to have a one-on-one discussion with the top villain of the moment and potential future rival.
After the battle was over, I took Izuku to my own secret cave close to Nine and the City, where I hid him. I visited Nine using the knowledge I had gained from my Eye of Omega to help him figure out how to absorb the twin brother's quirk. I also informed him of the twins' anticipated destination for the following day.
While Nine was giving his team an update on the information, I told him that I would not be supporting him in any more battles because it is now his fight and responsibility. I am only here to analyze the students, nothing more and nothing less, and I have done so successfully, but what could be better than a real visual combat test from someone less powerful then me?
