Izuku woke up from his unconscious state, and I was correct—he woke up in a confused, terrified state. This caused me to become sidetracked as I was sending drones to monitor the situation regarding what Nine has been planning or his future plans.

Ignoring Izuku's demands to free him, I simply went to my table and started preparing a remedy to heal the wound I had inflicted on him, which had caused bruising on his skin and damage to his bone.

He was yelling loudly for help from anyone nearby, and all I could do was stand there and make the remedy while ignoring his ridiculous antics. His last gasps of exhaustion were followed by a cry for assistance and the completion of the medication required to treat his injuries.

When I finally got him to wake up and made him drink the medicine, he was about to spit the medication out. "You won't recover from your wounds if you spit out the medication." He eventually asked why he had been arrested and demanded his release as he swallowed the medication.

"Izuku, tell me, what do you really fear from this world?" He was perplexed by my question because it came out of nowhere. "I'm afraid of people and of my childhood friend's disapproval of being a hero."

"Lies." The tone of my voice and the way I looked directly into his eyes when I answered alarmed him. "Just from our prior interactions and the events in which I was involved, I already know who you are and what worries you."

"You fear your own power, don't you?" He was about to object until I raised my hand as a signal for me to continue since he was shocked by what I had told him about his fears. "You worry that you won't resemble him if your rage takes over and overcomes your desire to improve or become like All Might."

"Being him and serving others could easily turn you into an ineffective person. You are never him, not in terms of blood, face, or strength, because you are not him." As I head to my computer, I notice that Nine has started to move in the direction of the twins' location.

"Have you ever questioned why you are fighting us?". As I move towards him to hear his response, "Because you are a criminal who has wreaked havoc, and you are abusing your powers when you could have used them for good!"

"Correct, but you are half wrong." He looked shocked to see me agree with him, and I could see that he didn't understand why he was only partially correct.

"The majority of criminals are dependent on societal comprehension and indulgence. Some of us possess codes, morals, and honor because the government and powerful people fear our strength. As a result, they have trained shock troopers who embody the people's ideal—heroes."

"And because we are different and unique—humanity is known to fear change and the unfamiliar—they have good reason to fear us because we are the ones who oppose their leadership and corruption."

"So, may I ask: are you a shock trooper or merely an employee of the government?" I told him that I was going to test his resolve and morality by letting him go and seeing if he would be willing to save the children.

"Permit me to help you with your response. If you become more to them than just a servant, if you become their hero, and if you dedicate yourself to your ideal of a hero—not as a copy, but as a better version of that ideal—you will transcend beyond what they can stop."

Since he uses his right hand, it was only natural for him to attack me with a right punch as soon as I released him from his restraint, and he quickly regained his strength. "You should focus more of your energy on saving them, so don't waste it on me."

Izuku instantly ran to the spot where Nine had attacked the twins as I gestured towards my monitor. "This world is unfair, Izuku Midorya; the strong will inevitably devour the weak, and those who were born into darkness will only pursue power by chasing shadows."
