"Mimi."

"Bade Papa."

"Badi Mumma."

"Chhote Papa."

"Chhoti Mumma."

"Massi."

"Bhaiya's."

"Aaru. I'm back."

Akshu came? I quickly put my laptop in sleep mode and strode near the stairs to see if she was there.

I went downstairs to be engulfed in a tight hug by my sister.

"Bas kar, Akshu. Aur kitna uchal kud kare gi?" (Enough, Akshu, and how much more will you jump around?)

"Kya yaar, Aaru. Itne arse baad milein hai aur tum ho ki mere excitement bigaar rahe ho." She came out of the hug with a cute pout. (What, Aaru, it's been so long since we met and your spoiling my excitement.)

"Silly." I slapped her head lightly with both of us chuckling.

She one-by-one hugged everyone and demanded pampering as if she hadn't been home in years. It was a three-month-long summer camp for music therapy she went to.

I can never understand her childishness, nonetheless, I love her for the way she is. My sister.

While everyone was busy with Akshu, I went to the kitchen and Vatsal bhai followed me to grab the cake we ordered to celebrate. I got the cake while Bhaiya handled the plates and spoons.

Bhaiya and I placed the cake and cutlery on the coffee table.

As Akshu cut the cake, we all clapped for her and she went on doing her childish nakhre. She is the elder one but is a baby at heart.

(Tantrums.)

Akshu came out of the bathroom, went to the dresser and started combing her hair. While braiding her hair she asked, "Aaru, tumhare internship kaise chal rahe hai?"

(Aaru, how is your internship going?)

"I closed the book I was reading, resting it on the side table, I told her, "Achi. I'm learning a lot."

(Good.)

And I have a crush. Abhimanyu but I ain't telling her that, or I'll be teased to no end.

"That's good." She plopped on her side of the bed.

"Tune age ka kya socha hai?" I asked her, my full attention on her.

(What are your plans for the future?)

"Soch rahi hoon ki koi hospital mein apply kardun."

(I was think to apply to some hospitals.)

"That's a good idea. All the best." I gave her a pat on her shoulder. Akshu yawned and said, "Sote hai. Bohot masti karli."

(Let's sleep. We had a lot of fun today.)

I nodded. We both got into the duvet and slept, turning off the lights.

I know the chapter is short. But it is what it is.
