He likes her sister.
She has a crush on him.
What will happen, when a Rishta meant for her sister is sent to her? How will he react? How will the family react? What's their story?

"Correctly diagnosing acute abdominal pain can be quite challenging. Few clinical judgements require clinical situation. Uh. What am I saying." I reread the sentence. "Few clinical situations require judgments..." I close the textbook and palm my face with both hands. I was a nerve rack.
The door creaked. I looked over my shoulder. Akshara came in, all shy and smiling.
"Had a good time, huh." I tried to sound nonchalant.
Akshu came over to my study and back hugged me. "Good nahi, the best. He's so cute, Aaru." She paused. "And just like how I imagined my life partner to be."
(Not good.)
"I'm so happy for you," I said as I stood up from the swivel chair and turned back to hug her. The pang in my heart made it difficult for me to express my happiness. But I am happy for her. This crush will also fade away like my other crushes did. It always hurts this much.
(A/n: I'm so tired of stories about the MMC only ever liking the FMC. Or the FMC only liking the MMC.)
. . .
In the past month, I have created a timetable. I try to follow it religiously because the NEET-PG exam is in two months. I can't waste my time. It's now or never and these exams are hard. I had spent a lot of time studying for my NEET-UG exam and by God's grace and my hard work, I scored well and got into MBBS in the first attempt.
I paused the video I was watching and put my pen down. Pushing my chair back, I stood up and went downstairs to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I took out the pecan pie from the fridge and grabbed a plate, knife, and spoon. I opened the container, sliced out a piece, and placed it on the plate. I closed the lid and put it back in the fridge. I took the plate with me to the dining table. Taking a seat, I relish the pie.
Once I had polished the plate, I put the used utensils in the sink, washed them, and dry them off, and put them, back in their designated spot in the cabinet. I went back upstairs and continued studying. I only came back downstairs when it was supper time.
Everyone had gathered in the dining room. I took my seat, plated my food, made a morsel, and put it in my mouth.
"We should get Akshu engaged this month," Bade Papa said, making me choke on my food.
Vansh Bhai who was sitting beside me passed me a glass of water, I grabbed the glass and chugged it down.
"You okay?" Everyone asked. I nodded and resumed eating. The engagement is happening this fast. What about my exam?
"Can't you postpone it after my exam is over?" I asked.
"We are getting them married after your exam is over and the engagement will be happening in a banquet hall, so your studies won't be disturbed," Bade Papa said.
I nodded. It's just a night that I won't be able to study. So, that would work for me.
