We walked down the winding road for about another hour before we stood outside an enormous house. I gazed in wonder a Shade chuckled lowly beside me.

"OK. Yeah i am kinda rich but believe me i wish i was any thing but."

I just rose my eyebrow at him and smirked at him before looking back up at his huge house. We walked into his house and made our way to the kitchen. Shade looked around and sneakily crept over to an over sized cabinet.

"Score! No ones home so we can have a little fun while we talk." Shade said pulling out various bottles of alcohol.

"Um i don't know about you but i really don't want to drink any alcohol." I said a bit quite.

"What was that? Oh your worried about the alcohol? You don't have to drink any if you don't want to but i am so totally going to get wasted i need to after the day i had."

I thought about his comment and agreed i had a horrible day too and if drinking just a little to loosen me up wouldn't be so bad, right?

I helped Shade carry some bottles to the pool house. Yeah did i mention he had a pool.....with a house beside it? It was amazing. It was covered in twinkly lights that Shade swore he did not put up and was a pretty blue color that was a tone darker then the pool water.

"This place is so cool Shade!"

"Thanks after i had one to many fights with my parents when they were home, which is pretty rare for them, i decided to make it my own place. Its actually the only place i feel comfortable. Anyways do you want anything to drink?"

I smiled and shook my head yes."Actually i would love some vodka."

Shade raised an eyebrow and pored me a glass full. I took it greedily from his hands and gulped it down, loving the feel of the burning in my throat. Once i was done i put my glass out in front of me and asked for more with my eyes. Shade just smiled approvingly and poured me some more before taking a swig out of the bottle.

"Hey! thats not far! You get the bottle and i just get this small glass?"

"Your the one who said you didn't want to have any in the first place. But since your so whiny i guess i will let you have the bottle i will just take the rum then."

I rolled my eyes and sat down with the half empty bottle in my lap. I pulled it up to my lips and took a long swallow. I closed my eyes and sighed happily i felt the buzz kick in. I took swallow after swallow until the whole bottle was gone in less then ten minutes.

I opened my eyes to the whole room spinning and tried to focus on Shade where i saw him grinning joyfully at me with an empty rum bottle in his hands. He went to go grab another bottle when i uneasily got up and stopped him. I missed his hand and went tumbling forward into his lap. I looked up at Shade and started laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes.

"Oops! I missed!"

"What were you aiming for?"

"Your hand!" I said a little to loudly.

Sean put the full bottle of whiskey he just picked up a minute ago and sat it down. He lifted his hand up to my face slowly and rested it on my cheek. I leaned into its warmness and sighed.

"Your hand is soooooo warm." I smiled up at him, eyes closed in pleasure.

"Anna why are you crying?" Shade asked concerningly.

I pulled my hand up to my face and touched the wetness that leaked from my eyes and remembered i did exactly this when i found Sean in the hall with the blond. But why was i crying now of all places? And how did i not notice?

Shade gently wiped the tears away from my eyes and soothingly rubbed my back.

I hardly even knew this guy and i am letting him comfort me and i am at his house? But at that moment i did not care. All the emotion's i had not felt before then was coming out and after all i was drunk so if i did anything stupid i could blame it on the alcohol.

I guess i said the last part out loud and Shade started to sing Blame it on the Alcohol. I giggled and stared up into Shades eyes while he drunkenly sang to me. I closed my eyes and put my hand on Shades cheek. The next thing i know i am kissing Shade and loving every second of it.
