Suspicious Acts

Chapter 5

I quickly got up from the ground and wiped the dirt off of my jeans. I glared up at the guy i bumped into and was about to say something quite rude when he interrupted me.

"What are you doing out here any ways? You know i could of been a rapist and took you away quite easily."

"Why does it matter to you? I can take care of my self!" I whisper yelled at him. I still did not want Dean to catch up to me.

"Yeah sure you could with all the 95 pounds you are. Whats your name any ways?"

"Why should i tell you? Like you said you could be a rapist or something and want to know my name so when you are raping me you can scream out my name." I shrunk back away from him in fake fear.

"Yeah like i would ever want to do that to you. Look at you your a mess. And talk about the dark rings under your eyes. No way in hell would i find you attractive."

My mouth fell open at his last comment. Yeah i might look a little horrible......OK maybe a lot. But that is only because i just broke up with my boyfriend!

He had done it he pushed me over the edge. I pulled back my fist and punched him hard in the arm making his eyes go wide.

"Yo!? What the hell was that for?"

"For being a complete jackass and the name is Anna." I smirked and kicked him in the shin sending him to the ground. "And if i ever see you again don't call me bitch or i will kick your ass."

I started to walk away a huge grin on my face from getting all that anger out when he came up behind me and whacked me in the back of the head.

"Dude! Your not suppose to hit girls you dick!"

"Well i don't consider you a girl, Bitch! And the name is Shade, Shade Willing. And I'm willing to kick your ass, hard."

"Ohhhhh. Little tough guy are ya? Well lets see how tough you are when i call the police and tell them you are hitting me? Oh and you made it so easy for me to do it to by giving me your name. Thanks for that." I smirked at him and whipped out my cell phone fake dialing the police.

"Oh hello police officer?" I puased slightly and looked over at Shade with a look of utter shock on his face. "Uh ya i would liek to report an abu-" I got cut off on my fake police call when Shade's hand covered my mouth.

"Anna! I am really sorry! Please, Please, please, don't call the cops! I can't afford another strike against me! My parents would kill me!"

He still did not take his hand off of my mouth but that did not stop me from laughing hysterically. Shade took his hand off of my mouth and gave me a questioning look as tears started to roll down my cheeks from laughing so hard.

"Anna, seriously what is so funny about all this?"

Still shaking from laughing so hard i held up my phone to his face and once he saw my phone was off he gave out a frustrated grunt.

"That was sooooo not funny!"

I sobered up enough to say something, "Well maybe if u were not being such a jackass to me and hit me i wouldn't of had to do that."

Shade sighed and closed his eyes tugging his hand through his brownish black hair. I really could not tell the exact color it was really dark out. He did it once more and met my eyes.

"Sorry, OK? I am just not having the best day and i just needed to take it out on some one and it was you. A stranger. Man do i feel like a jerk." He sighed once more and sat down on the curb holding his head between his hands.

I rolled my eyes and sat down beside him.

"So exactly what happened?"

"Why should i tell you. You will probably go out and tell all of your girlie friends about this pathetic loser you met on the street and what a jackass i was."

"First of all who really cares if i would its not like we are ever going to see each other again and plus i don't have any friends."

Shade gave me a questioning looked and i sighed dropping my eyes from him.

"Its a long story."

"Well how about this i tell you whats wrong with me and you tell me whats wrong with you?"

I rolled my eyes and groaned."What is this going to be a heart to heart with a stranger? This is not TV you know."

"Beleive me i do not want to do this either but it will make me feel better and it will make you feel better to. So come on lets go back to my place and talk about it."

Shade stood up from the curb and started walking in the direction i was heading before. He looked back at me and gave me a 'what are you waiting for' look. I looked warily at him and he just smirked back his blue eyes glinting in the street lights.

"Don't worry princess I'm not gonna rape you."

I rolled my eyes and stood up from the curb quickly catching up and falling into step along his side.
