HIVES JIVES
IT'S BEEN A WEEK since Jenalyn's body was found in front of Elaine's house. Her body has been retrieved. They heard that the feet and shoes with number on it matches the severed part on Jenalyn's body with the very same numbers as well. The police figured thay the killer might be insane or a serial killer for numbering the parts, probably playing some kind of sick game, which means that killing the girl is intended.
Jenalyn's body is now currently held in a funeral. And although the group went and begged, they weren't allowed inside. So the nearest 24-hour coffeeshop is their last choice to go.
"Ano bang problema nila? Bakit ba tayo ang sinisisi? Did we kill her?" Si France na ang bumasag sa katahimikan. She figures everyone wants to speak and rant but no one would want to go first. "Bobo ba sila?"
"Damn those idiotic mothers. Trixie has her eyes rolling. "Kahit kailangan talaga e. Ayang namatay siya, problema pa."
The boys can't help but shake their heads. Although they are frustrated, they tried to limit the words coming from their mouths.
"You can't blame them," mahinahon na sagot ni Yela, kagaya ng lagi niyang ginagawa.
"I'm sorry, Sister Yela, ah," sarkastikong bwelta ni France doon. "Duh? It's not like kasalanan natin. Did we push them to go somewhere even their parents doesn't know?"
"Bwisit kasi. Why is this happening?" Lani is frustrated.
"But why is that body in front of Elaine's house? How come Jenalyn's feet and shoes were thrown at Trixie's balcony?" Napaisip silang lahat. "Sabay na nangyari iyon."
"It means hindi nag-iisa ang gumagawa ng mga 'to." Joshua concluded and the others nodded at his words. "And everything started at Rose's death anniversary."
"That bitch's name brings bad luck as always. If I know, pamilya niya ang may kagagawan nito." Trixie said what comes to her mind. But it got everyone in the group thinking.
"Maybe..." Kyle agreed at her girlfriend's speculation.
"But why? They didn't make a mess nung namatay ang anak nila. Ni hindi nagsampa ng kaso. Ni hindi sila nagpakita. They never beg or ask for compensation. Why now?" France said.
Bobo? O inutil?" Her words were sharp. Elaine explains the obvious.
"So you mean..." France traced her thoughts.
"Oo. Elaine snorted.
"Mali ang mambintang. This is murder that is happening," Gabriel defended.
"You wanna check it out?" paghahamon ni Elaine.
Everyone agreed. It was at least the safest thing they can do.
