The door opened. The wind whispered behind them. The siblings shuddered.
"We're going to be living here?" asked Erin.
"This place is already giving me nightmares," remarked Alex.
"So it's a fixer-upper," stated Mr. Raven, "but it's not that bad."
"Your father's right," agreed Mrs. Raven, "it's not that bad. If we throw a different color on the walls, change the curtains, install new flooring, replace and remodel some things....."
"We'd still be living here" interrupted Alex, not convinced.
"Why are there so many trees outside?" asked Erin, scared.
"It's a grove" replied Mrs. Raven.
"Still spooky" mumbled Erin.
Aiden was researching about the house, not saying a word.
Gasp.
Everyone looked at Aiden.
"What happened?" asked the concerned parents.
Aiden gave them his phone. On a website about the Mystic Manor, it was stated that three families living in the Mystic Manor disappeared and have not been found till now.
Everyone looked at each other. Erin looked out the window.
I'm not going to be sleeping tonight!
