"What would you all like for breakfast?" asked Mrs. Raven.

"Waffles," replied the twins.

"Aren't we late for school?" asked Ellie, rubbing her eyes as she sat down.

"It's Saturday," replied Erin, laughing.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" whispered Ellie to Erin, irritated.

"I did. You didn't wake up," Erin whispered back.

"If you tried harder-" started Ellie.

"You threw the extra pillow at me," said Erin, interrupting Ellie.

Ellie smiled guiltily and quickly finished her breakfast.

"I should go," said Griff, getting up, "don't want my parents to worry."

"Me too," said Ellie, imitating Griff.

Erin got up and walked with them to the door.

"Are we going to ignore what happened last night?" whisper-yelled Griff.

"Sorry, we forgot," said Erin.

"YOU FORGOT!" shouted Griff.

Mr. and Mrs. Raven and the twins looked at him.

"Sorry," muttered Griff guiltily.

"Anyways," said Griff, "how could you guys forget?"

"Look, we don't know what to do," said Ellie, "so there is no use in talking about it."

"But it asked for our help," whispered Griff.

"But it's a ghost!" snapped Ellie.

"It asked for our help!" retorted Griff.

"It's a ghost!" Ellie retorted back.

The two of them argued with each other until-

"Will you two shut up!" whispered Erin, which caused them to stop arguing.

"I agree with Griff," muttered Erin, not looking at Ellie.

Griff smirked at Ellie triumphantly while Ellie looked at Erin angrily.

"Of course you do," sneered Ellie at Erin.

Erin rolled her eyes. Griff looked at them in confusion. Erin ignored Griff's confusion and followed Ellie out the door. Ellie looked at the other two with her eyebrows crossed when they were out of the house.

"Why are you looking at us like that?" asked Griff.

"How are we supposed to help a ghost?" asked Ellie, still mad that they had outvoted her.

"I don't know," mumbled Griff so quietly that Erin and Ellie had not heard him.

"What did you say?" asked Ellie, moving closer.

"I don't know," said Griff quietly but clearly, "maybe we could do some research."

"Ellie's got a point," said Erin, and Ellie beamed at her, "how will we do research? Search 'what to do when a ghost asks for our help'?"

Ellie laughed. Griff and Ellie got on their bikes and waved at Erin. Erin waved back and kept on waving until they were out of sight. She went back inside, and the twins ran towards her as soon as she had entered.

"What was Griff shouting about?" asked Alex as soon as Erin closed the door.

"Nothing," shrugged Erin.

"He was angry about you and Ellie forgetting something," said Aidan suspiciously.

"We forgot one of our teachers' birthday," replied Erin casually.
