Underground, in what appeared to look like a bunker, an arrogant man by the name of Henry Van Statten, walked through the halls. Behind him a team of people, decked out in armor and carrying guns, walked behind him.
"How are the prizes of my collection doing?" he asked his team.
A scientist, by the name of Adam responded; "The metatron is still inactive, we have tried everything to make it speak, but all efforts have failed. It's the same with the girl, she won't respond to our questions, and has stopped reacting to the shocks. She is barely eating anymore and is not looking too good."
"Well then, force feed her if you have to. I will not have any of my prizes dying! Do anything you have to, to make sure that she survives!" Van Statten replied angrily.
"Yes, Sir. Well get right to it." And with that Adam left in a hurry.
As Van Statten walked down the halls, a smirk appeared on his face as he approached the cage. It was separated in two, by a stone wall. Keeping his prized possessions apart, to make sure they wouldn't communicate together. On one side of the cage it held a fearsome metal creature, and on the other side it held a woman. A very special woman.
The woman was chained, by the wrists, to the wall. She was barely moving. She appeared almost dead, with her pale skin and lack of movement. But Van Statten knew she was alive, for he could she the faint movement she made as she breathed. She was a beautiful woman, with fiery red locks cascading down her back. So long, after not having been cut in a while. She had a pale complexion, with freckles all over her nose and cheeks. She had piercing green eyes, with speckels og gold mixed in between. Her clothes were all torn and tattered, never once changed since she appeared. But Van Statten, didn't want her to be too comfortable, not before she spoke.
The woman lied completely still in her cell, she wasn't fully conscious. In fact she appeared dazed. And she was, from the hellish session of shocks she just received, for not talking.
"Isn't she just pretty?" Van Statten said, as he approached her side of the cage. "Make her talk. Turn it on." A guard near by, moved closer to a button on the outside of the cage. As he pressed it, a few bolts of electricity moved through her veins. And move she did. She tried to pull the collar around her neck of as it shocked her. Tears started to stream silently down her face, as she looked at Van Statten. Silently begging with her eyes to make it stop.
"Sir. the metatron is moving again." And with that the shocks stopped. She slumped back to the floor, heaving for breaths to ease the pain she felt. The same guard that pressed the button, held up his gun and started to point it at the Metaltron. The metatron never moved, not unless the girl was being shocked or tortures. It was if it felt for her, for it was experiencing the same exact things. Though any attempt to make the Metaltron talk, was futile and without result.
Van Statten moved closer to the metal creature with a questioning look. "You respond to her. You always do. Why?" He received no answer. "Do it." And then he started to shock the Metaltron, just as he had with the girl. "Answer me!" he demanded. And yet again, he received no answer from the metal beast.
"Do it to her again"
"But Sir..."
"Just do it!" Van Statten yelled.
Another round of torture began for her. This was how she would spent countless days down here. Trapped, tortured and never to be free. She had lost all hope of ever being free from this hellish place. And if she did, the first thing she would do, was severely harm Van Statten. For she hated him. She hated him with all her might.
