Chapter 5 - A Good Idea

A few days later...

Location - Ichigaya Residence, Basement

Arisa's POV

I am at my house with Kasumi and the others again, and like before, we were having band rehearsals at my basement. We were working on the new song Kasumi and Rimi were working on together, and as you can guess, Kasumi wants to use this song in a live performance as soon as possible.

By the time we took our break from rehearsals, Kasumi was still showing off a lot of energy, and I was doing my best to control her.

"Hey guys! What did you think of our song just now? It was pretty cool, right?" Kasumi asked the rest of us.

"Yeah, I feel like it's starting to come together." Saaya said.

"Try not to go overboard, though." I said. "It has been a while since we wrote a new song anyway."

"Right. I promise I won't go overboard." Kasumi said, but in the end, I couldn't help but laugh.

"You not going overboard? That'll never happen." I said as a joke.

After we've had our break, we were getting ready to do some rehearsals again. However, I was beginning to think about something. It wasn't noticable at first, but Kasumi was first one to point it out.

"Arisa, are you feeling okay?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, nothing to worry about." I said.

"You do seem to have something on your mind, though." Saaya said. "Is there anything you wanted to talk about?"

Everyone looked at me, expecting me to say something. Although, Saaya was right earlier. There was something on my mind, and I wasn't sure if I should say anything, but it sounds like I have no choice but to speak.

"Say, guys, you know how we spoke about performing our new song?" I asked.

"Yeah. What about it?" Rimi asked in return.

"Well, this is just a thought, but... how about... we get another group to perform alongside us?"

Now everyone is looking at me like I said the wrong thing. I know I don't normally say stuff like this, but... there is nothing wrong with contributing an idea every now and then, is there?

Thankfully, Kasumi was kind enough to back me up on this one.

"That's a good idea!" Kasumi said. "I'd say we do it!"

"I'm down for that idea." Tae said.

"Well, if Arisa wants to do it, I don't see why we can't do it." Saaya said.

"Who should we ask though?" Rimi asked.

"You let me handle that." I said with a determined smile on my face.

"Ooh, the fact that Arisa has an idea makes me think that something is wrong with her." Kasumi said.

"Oh shut up! Nothing is wrong with me!"

The next day...

Location - Live House CiRCLE, Lobby

The next day after school, I began to head to CiRCLE right away. If my memory is correct, he should be there right now. As I stepped inside, I found the person I was looking for behind the counter.

"Welcome to CiRCLE!" (Y/N) greeted as I entered.

"Good afternoon, (Y/N)."

"Oh, hi Arisa. How can I help you?" He asked.

"Yeah. If it's okay with you, I wanted to ask you something important." I said.

"Yeah? What's up?"

"I wanted to know... if you and your music club members would want to perform alongside us?"
