Chapter 7 - Reunited Again

A few days later...

Location - Shopping Mall, Food Court

Your POV

I am currently at the shopping mall after sending a text message to all of the members in my old music club. This is what I said... 

Your text: Can you come meet me at the food court located in the shopping mall? I want to ask you guys something. 

I haven't heard anything back from them yet, so I hope they'll come, or at the very least reply to my message. 

As I was about to check my phone again, someone came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder. I looked up to see who it was. It was Aki and Sayaka. I can't believe it, it was actually them.

"Aki-senpai! Sayaka-senpai!" I said as I start to become excited to see them.

"Wow, someone is happy to see us, right Aki-chan?" Sayaka asks as she looks at her friend with a teasing smirk.

"Oh be quiet." Aki blushed as she rolled her eyes.

Well, nice to know that some things haven't changed.

"So, (Y/N)-kun, how does it feel to be a third year soon?" Sayaka asked.

"I feel excited, but at the same time, it'll be sad, especially since I'm going to miss being at that school, you know?"

"Yeah, that does make sense."

"So, what was so important that you have ask us to come down here?" Aki asked.

"Hang on, we need to wait for-"

"We're here!"

As if on cue, Jin and Kengo walked over towards us. This truly was like the good old days.

"Hey boys, thanks for coming." I said as I smiled at them.

"Yeah, it's good to see you too." Jin said.

"I didn't think we would be reunited like this, but I guess anything is possible, huh?" Kengo said, eyeing at Sayaka and Aki. 

Aki cleared her throat loudly. 

"Now that we're all here, I assumed you called us here for an important reason?" She asked. 

"Right." 

I took a deep breath before I started to talk.

"So, for starters, I work at a live house called CiRCLE. A girl's band called Poppin' Party is scheduled to perform there, and one of them asked us to join them on stage."

"I see, so you gathered us here to ask to reform the music club for this one event, am I right?" Aki asked.

"That's right. They were so insisted it, plus I think it'd be a good idea to perform in front of everyone." I said. 

"Well, I wouldn't mind doing it again." Jin said.

"Yeah, same here." Kengo said. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the good old days of playing music in front of everyone."

It was good to know that I got their support, and now, I just need Aki and Sayaka to approve. But sadly, Aki had something to say. 

"Look, I understand how you feel and all, but remember that Sayaka and I are college students now." She reminded us. "We don't have the time for-"

"Now hang on a minute, Aki-chan." 

"But Sayaka..."

"I know we've been busy with college and stuff, but remember that we finished our recent exams, so we should have some free time on our hands." 

Sayaka looked towards me with that genuine smile of hers.

"Sure. You can count me in." Sayaka said. 

"Awesome, and what about you, Aki-senpai? Are you in?"

I can by the look on her face that she didn't want to do this, but after giving her the stare, she gave in. 

"Fine! I'll do it!" She said at last.

Now my excitement went through the roof. For the first time in over a year, our music club was back together again. It's going to take a while for all of us to get back in sync, but with enough hard work, we can do it. 

"So, any idea when the show is?" Kengo asked. 

"I'll have to ask them about it." I replied. "When I do, I'll let you know."

"Right, but I think we should start practice again like we used to." Aki declared.

"That does make sense. After all, my skills have been a little rusty." Jin said.

"Yeah, same here." I sighed.

"Well then, shall we go to my house?" Sayaka offered. "There's a sound-proof room we can use for rehearsals."

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Aki said.

"Welp, next stop is Sayaka-senpai's house." Kengo said.
