Chapter 6 - Offer Accepted

Your POV

"You want me to perform alongside Poppin' Party?" I asked Arisa.

"That's right. I know it's asking a lot, but I think it would make Kasumi and the others haopy if you were to join us on stage." Arisa said.

I thought about this offer Arisa gave me. It would be nice to perform in front of people again, as it has been a while. But on the other hand, I haven't played the keyboard in a while, and I am probably rusty.

"What do you say?" Arisa asked one final time. "Are you willing to perform alongside us?"

I gave it some thought, and if there was one thing I was taught growing up, it is that when you're in doubt about something, just do it. In my case, I want to perform alongside Poppin' Party, knowing that I am out of practice.

My decision was made for me.

"Sure, Arisa. I'll be more than happy to join you and the others on stage."

Arisa gave me a smile, as if I made the right decision.

"I'm glad you're willing to do this."

"So, when will you girls perform?"

"Ah, well, nothing has been decided yet, but when we settle on a date, you'll be the first to know."

"Thanks."

Arisa nodded, and right before she started walking away, she had something else to say.

"Oh yeah, if it's okay with you, I would like to make a request."

"Yeah? What is it?"

"Do you think... it's possible for you to get the members of your music club to join you as well?"

"Oh? May I ask why?"

Arisa's face turned red with embarrassment as she explained herself.

"Well, let's just say... I am a bit curious to see what you guys are like when working together." She said.

I gave Arisa a smile of my own as I said...

"Sure. I'll see what I can do."

Arisa nodded one last time before leaving for good. As she left, I let out a sigh, realizing what I did wrong. It might be a challenge to get everyone together again, especially Sayaka and Aki. However, for the sake of the performance, I need to at least try, right?
