Location - Sayaka's Garage
Your POV
All of us made it back to Sayaka's house, as we got there, Sayaka guided us to where her garage was. She turned on the lights and saw that the place was very spacious. In front of us was the instruments we used back in the day.
"It feels like it's been forever since I have picked up a guitar." Jin said as he held it in his hand.
"I know what you mean." Sayaka said before picking up the bass.
"Do you think we still got it in us?" Kengo asked before sitting down in front of the drums.
"I guess there's only way to find out." I said and walked over to the keyboard.
As we did a few warmups, Aki did the mic test to make sure that it was working.
"How's the mic, Aki-chan?" Sayaka asked.
"Yeah. Is everyone else ready?"
"Yeah!" We all answered in unison.
"So, what song should we do this time?" I asked.
Aki thought for a moment before giving an answer.
"How about... Fly to Your Heart?" Aki suggested.
"Oh, we haven't done that since the school festival." Kengo said.
"Yeah, I remember that." Jin added.
"That said, are we ready to go?" Aki asked as she looks at us one by one.
"I am." Jin said.
"I'm ready." Sayaka said.
"I'm good to go." Kengo said.
"Ready when you are!" I said.
Aki nodded as Kengo started the countdown.
"Here goes! 1... 2... 1 2 3 4!"
As the countdown was complete, we played our instruments and Aki started singing.

A few minutes later...
After performing the song, I managed to get a good look at everyone. It's clear that we are tired and exhausted.
"I think it's about time we take a break, wouldn't you all say?" I suggested.
My suggestion was a landslide.
"Okay, I'll go make us some snacks then." Sayaka said in her most cheerful voice ever.
"I'll help you out." Aki said.
"Really? Thanks, Aki-chan." Sayaka said. "You're so sweet."
"Yeah, sure..." Aki said as her cheeks turned red.
Now that I am seeing this for myself, Aki reminds me of Arisa. She often gets embarrassed whenever Kasumi would tease her. I wouldn't be surprised if the two of them end up becoming friends or something.
At that moment, my phone started buzzing. I looked at it and saw that it was a text message from Arisa.
"It's Arisa."
This caught everyone's attention.
"What did she say? Is it about the show?"
"Yeah, she said..." I said and started to read the text. "The show is next month, so we'll have time to get ready."
"Well, that gives us plenty of time for us to get back to the basics." Kengo said.
"Yeah, that works for me." Aki said. But then, we can see a determined look on her face.
"You know what? I think the snacks can wait if that's okay with you, Sayaka." She said.
"I was thinking the same thing." She said.
"Well, shall we get back into it?" Aki asked all of us, and we all agreed without saying it.
With newfound resolved, we got back to rehearsals instead of taking that break. I guess it was fine, though. We needed something to motivate us, and getting the date for the show is exactly what we needed.
