Oh God when I say I'm done,
It don't mean a thing.
For You are the Only One.
Who decides the end.
My words mean so little.
All my works are so brittle.
All of time rides on Your wing.
All of reality You can bend.
So, God, with every chapter I know that You'll never end.
So too with this chapter, this writing may end,
But You never will.
The feelings and thoughts You've placed on my heart,
Make more words than I could write before I depart.
But with them these pages fill.
This one thing feels so real,
I know my heart will go and turn the wheel,
But for now let me get down and kneel.
God You have given me,
Oh so much more than me.
For You are the One,
And I'll give it all to You.
And now that I'm done,
All I must say, is thank You.
