—— Leilani Kennedy has only ever wanted love like the ones in the fairy tales. A love where her lover was waiting for her and only her. Where her person would travel to the ends of the earth just to even hear her voice.

She thought she found just what she was looking for when Paige entered her life.

Paige Bueckers, a Minnesota native, was never one for relationships. If anything, she was a player and never wanted to attach herself to one person. Paige liked watching people chase after her, but her first encounter with Leilani changed that, as she found herself doing the chasing.

Seeing the girl in all of her glory after her phenomenal 35pt performance on the road against Maryland was the start of an encounter that blossomed into something more.

The pair dated for quite a while, spanning over two years. Only becoming more serious once Leilani graduated high school and joined Paige at UConn the following semester.

However, God has his own plans and within some time the pair found themselves drifting further and further apart until their breakup became a reality.

Now comes a new school year. A year in in which Paige is completely set on proving herself for what would most likely be the final season of her collegiate career. What did that include? No distractions.

That's all. No distractions.

But as I said. God has his own plans, and soon enough Paige found herself running into the woman who was her biggest distraction of all. Not only that. She was everywhere.

Leilani was everywhere.

More and more reminders of their past relationship filled her head and it was only a matter of time before Paige fell into the temptation.

The question was did Leilani feel the same? And if she did, would they make it work the second time around?
