𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴 was played by the band, as Leilani, Zariah, and Ryan found their seats in their section.

It was the homecoming game, and as much as the Huskies football team was not having a successful season, it was a great opportunity to get out and spend some time with her friends, considering Leilani had spent the majority of the school year working or studying.

The trio had only planned on staying at the game until halftime, at the latest, before heading to the county fair that had started the night before. Saturday's always seemed to be the best time to go, with everyone outside having fun, so why not join in.

"Can you pass me a ketchup packet?" Ryan asked Zariah, his hot dog already dressed up with mustard and relish, in his hand.

"Baby you don't need allat, but here." Zariah mean mugged, loudly kissing her teeth before handing the man his ketchup.

If there was anything on the planet she could always hate on, it was hotdogs. And if there was anything on the planet Ryan could always buy at a game, it was hotdogs.

"Let the man eat his hotdog!" Leilani shook her head, laughing at her friends childish behavior before looking at the field. The team was playing UCF and so far not doing too well, already giving up heavy yardage on the kickoff return.

"Why did we come to this game again?" Ryan asked.

"You wanted to be looking for the hoes so bad. Well here we are... look for 'em." Leilani teased, gesturing towards the sea of white men who were definitely not Ryan's type.

"I hate you."

"Love you more."

Leilani dropped her head down to her lap, breifly checking her schedule for the next day. She normally didn't work on Sundays, but the wallet was starting to look a little thin and that was not her vibe, college student or not.

It was 7:00 on the dot and the sun slowly began to set, revealing a beautiful orange and pink sky. The wind had started to pick up as well, causing Leilani to pick up and put on her blue and beige flannel over her white crop top.

Her phone began ringing, pulling her out of her thoughts and pressing the accept button, not reading the caller ID before doing so.

"Hello?"

"Girly pop!"

Leilani could recognize that voice from anywhere. Her and the girl had became fairly close over the last two days, Leilani only seeing her earlier that morning for their second study session.

"Kamorea, to what do I owe this pleasure?" She asked.

"Well first I'm gonna need you to start calling me KK like everyone else." She responded, the sass ever present in her voice.
