Gone City.

Chapter Four: The Mission.

Me and My friends were still at Emma's Place Playing some Card games with some candles to have a calm night from a lot going on from tonight. I was sitting on the balcony staring at the night lights of the city wondering why this happened and why now, there were a lot of emotions coming in at once and it was only trying to get me freaked out, but I didn't. Jacob began to take a smoke and sit beside me on the balcony making sure I was actually okay, I didn't even wanna talk really ... I just wanted to be quiet and Just Go Home. " Hey kiddo, you alright? don't lie." Jacob said to me beginning to light his cigarette. apart of me didn't want to ignore him because I didn't wanna upset him or anyone. " Hey and yeah, I'm okay just under a lot of stress is all." I said to him. He looked very worried of me since this was his first time seeing me this stressed in a while, he started giving some advice to at least help me with my thoughts and offered to take me home since there were barely any zombies at this time of night. I looked him with a kind of sad and stressed look on my face and he just held my hand and told me if he needs to take me home, he will. "... yeah... I'd like to go home Jacob... please" I said to him, and we snuck out since everyone was in the game room. I gave him the address to my safehouse and began driving me back home, he did everything he could to make me feel better and it was kind of working. He said to me as long as I show a small smile, was all that matters to him. we arrived at my house, and he walked to the front door to give me a big hug, we hugged a for a while, and he kissed my head as he was continuing to hug me. " I love you kiddo, get some rest K? big day tomorrow. " He said to me as I went inside my house. I lit up some candles and went to take a nice bath while drinking a glass of wine, which made me feel a lot better and definitely made the stress go away. after my bath, I went downstairs to get some water and prepare myself for bed since tomorrow was the hotel day to find the doctor and see if the military are still there. I went upstairs with my water and sat on the bed and began writing in my journal about my day and planning a new life after we officially leave Los Angeles, and I went sleep peacefully and rested well. It was finally the next morning, and it was probably almost Nine-Thirty in the morning. I didn't wanna wake up or move and I felt someone shaking me as I was still trying to sleep, I rolled over and wiped my eyes and it was Bruno, " morning, get ready Sol we have to leave now. Hope you got some good sleep." he said as he left my room. I sat up and got myself ready to leave and search the hotel and grabbed some weapons to protect myself and my friends. " Ready darling?" Dani said to me as she wrapped her arm around me and walking together, " born ready " I said to her, and we walked to the Hotel together. The guys walked in front of us and me, Dani, Carla and Amy were behind them. There was a new guy in our group, his name was Ryan, and he was a firefighter that survived this apocalypse. he came to Emma's after I left to head home and he was very nice that even Amy founded him attractive, Amy never took his eye off of him. even he was in danger, she would jump in and defend him and make sure he's okay. Still walking, Bruno stopped, and we were suddenly Infront of the hotel and it was huge. It was one of the nicest hotels In Los Angeles, but It didn't look the same at all ... The sign looked like it was going to fall at any second, glass was everywhere, the parking was full of blood and every single thing you could imagine or think of was everywhere. we all Split up and began searching for some supplies and other things we could need before the next travel tomorrow. The Hotel was Very creepy now ... It looked abandoned from the inside and out. " Anyone here? police? anyone? " I said as I had my weapon in my hands ready to use. there were a lot of noises coming from every side of the hotel hallways, you could hear the electric wires, water running from the bathrooms, and of course the zombies. I killed every single one in sight to find some first aid or anything we could use, I searched more than twenty-six rooms on the 1st floor and suddenly searched one more before leaving. I found some first aid such as bandages, first aid shots, medicine, an alcohol bottle plus wipes for open wounds and many more. " If anyone can hear me on the walkie, I found some first aid." I said over the walkie. " Yes! I found some food supplies also!" Dani said. all the others were still searching for other things as for, Bruno tried to see if the military were there since their trucks were out front when we arrived. I had finally found some medicine for Amy incase anything happens but overall, she still needed the vaccine, and we were doing everything we can to make sure she lives. we all met up in the ballroom to gather what we had found and sadly the military were dead, we had no luck yet on getting out of here. we talked out our plan and decided to stay at the hotel to get to Venice beach for the doctor Bruno was talking about, we contacted Emma through the walkie, and she was on board to come tomorrow to Venice. we all went to find what room we were staying in with no issues and rest up with the supplies we had for tonight, I stayed on the third floor and my room had a Balcony and the view was beautiful of course. I started to plan out everything on the floor of all the notes we written down and the pictures Jacob had printed out for where were going, I was very concentrated doing the planning and Bruno came to visit me in my room. " Hey, what you up to? " He said as he sat on the floor with me. " Just planning out our plan, what are you doing? " I say jokily. he pushed me softly and laughed showing his smile again. " I was doing something before I came thank you very much, but I just wanted to see you."  he said to me as I started laughing at his humor. it was very sweet of him to stop by and see me really ... It's like he rather sees me distracted than working, which I didn't mind but he decided to help me out a little bit. I began to realize how blind I've been acting ... I wasn't alone at all. I had all my friends and clearly someone who I'm getting close to ... Bruno. I remembered thanking him for the things he's been doing for me and my friends, without his help... we would've been dead. those sweet green eyes of his as he looked at me will never fail to put a smile on my face, " no need to thank me ... I'll always be here " he said. He was almost close to my face that we could've kissed but we didn't, I wanted to surprise him with that when the time comes. we all were prepared for another trip to come more than ever cause for now were not alone.
