Before Li Ming could digest what he did and what he could've possibly caused, Heart was back in the cafe on Monday. Accompanied by another girl this time.

"What the hell," Li Ming muttered under his breath as he watched one of the part-timers taking their orders.

He couldn't understand why Heart was suddenly so active in dating the scene. Was he always like this? Was he a serial dater? A playboy? Didn't he say he had no time? Or was someone playing a sick joke on Li Ming, now that he had to stop Heart from finding love? How could he stop him when Heart was capable of finding a different girl in only two days?

Apparently, his Heart boy had a type, as this girl was tall too. She was sitting with her back to Li Ming, so he couldn't see clearly, but she was also probably very pretty.

Not only was Heart so fast at finding girls to date, but he was finding attractive ones too.

Li Ming waited until the couple got their orders served and walked towards their table. Heart was already watching him before he even left the counter, so he wasn't surprised to see Li Ming when he arrived, but the girl was a little confused.

"Hello friend," Li Ming said. "How was your Sunday?"

Heart was looking handsome today, as he did every day. His sky blue long-sleeve polo t-shirt made him look so cute and boyish along with his long hair. His face was blushed a little, probably because of the excitement of the date, and it made his pink lips puff. He was just too good-looking to be casually sitting in a cafe.

He looked up to Li Ming with his doe eyes, blinking. "It was okay. How was yours?"

"Mine was great," Li Ming said, even though he just lazed around all day. It didn't matter anyway, he didn't visit their table to chitchat about yesterday. He looked at the girl. "Are you on a date?" he asked, not even trying to beat around the bush.

Heart took a second before nodding and the girl smiled shyly right after that. Damn, she was really pretty. They were making such a beautiful couple. Not good, not good.

"This is my friend, Li Ming," Heart introduced him to her.

The girl gave him a wai, and Li Ming returned it.

"And this is Joy, she is a senior from my faculty."

How joyful, Li Ming thought. He then gave himself an invisible eye roll, he was being corny now.

"Oh, so it's a friendly date then?" He tried his best.

The girl giggled. "No," she said.

Li Ming waited for a longer explanation but it didn't come, the girl just kept smiling. So he looked at Heart. Heart's eyebrows were up, he looked like he was the one expecting something from Li Ming, not the other way around. What was wrong with them? Why was nobody talking?

Li Ming felt that he was about to lose his temper. "I'll leave you be, then," he said, giving them both a bright, a very fake smile. He had to go somewhere silent and rack his brain to find a way to send this girl away too. "Enjoy your coffee."

He didn't wait for an answer before returning behind the counter.

Pan wasn't in today, and Li Ming didn't think two eighteen-year-old part-timer boys would give him any ideas about messing up with dates. So he was all alone today. He went into the storage room and organized nothing on the shelves, randomly touching things; just to think, make a plan, and muster up some courage while at it too.

He already used the 'he has a girlfriend' card to the other girl. He didn't think he could go around and use it for everyone. It was a miracle it worked the last time anyway because it was something that could be solved easily. Just ask the boy and let him tell you the truth. It was also dangerous for Li Ming, too. It was literally him pushing himself under the car. What if that girl confronted Heart about it? What if Heart asked who she heard it from? What if the girl told him everything and Heart came to Li Ming, asking for an explanation for ruining his date? That would be bad. Li Ming literally had no excuse to tell him in a situation like that.
