the F1 journey begins | Part 1

Chapter 5 : Friday Afternoon and Night

(Monique's turn for POV bc why not :) )

      This morning was very chaotic. I think Charles fell in love with me. Leah and Carlos for sure are going to get together. Plus, Faith looks like she found the love of her life in one second! Anyways, now tomorrow was the third practice session before the qualifying. We went to the boys' hotel room. Carlos called Lando over for Faith too. She was so excited and ended up doing her weird laugh as usual. As he came in, she changed instantly and acted as if she was on her phone. He sat near her and started to talk to her. I noticed how she looked really nervous, both of them were sitting really close to each other. Then, Carlos and Leah started to play cards on the table as I saw Charles walking into the balcony to see the track.

I followed after him and put my hands on the railings. I looked at him and started to tell him about this group.

"I think we are going to become a group for sure. We would live with you guys I swear." I said as I looked at the track admiring it.
"I think so too! I love how Carlos and Leah clicked in an instant and so did Faith and Lando!" He said laughing.
"Yup!"
"Monique.. I have a question." He said as I looked at him, ready to answer.
"Fire it away, Mr.Charles.." I say as I laugh a bit.
"Do you think im going to win?"
"Of course! I know you haven't ever won in your race but I have hope!" I say as I look up to the weather.
"Thank you." He says.

     He looked at me and went in for a hug again, I felt so warm. I couldn't feel any wind. I wrapped my hands around his neck and felt his hands on my hips again. It was so comfortable. I didn't want to stop. He held the hug as long as possible. I felt his arms getting more wrapped around me. He grabbed me then and put me up high up, while turning me around as if I'm as light as a feather. This is the dream. I couldn't stop smiling. As he put me down, I felt his hands grabbing mine. After all that, we started talking about how the track is very different than others and how much I really like it. It was an amazing track in general, Monaco was a really good vibe.

      He told me it's getting too windy so we end up going inside and play cards with the others. We had a lot of fun.

2 hours later.

      After all the games, we waited for the boys to get dressed, Charles wore a black tuxedo which suited him really well. Carlos wore a dark blue tuxedo which ended up matching Leah's dark blue skirt and white top. Lando wore a silvery tuxedo and Faith also matched with him. We went to our room so us girls can get dressed.We had a buffet now. I got dressed first. I wore a beautiful black fitted dress with a slit, high heels and a cute small bag. I got my makeup and earrings ready and I got out with the hair brush, so I let the others get ready. Charles looked stunned, he sat on my bed and kept his mouth opened. I sat on his lap and started to brush my hair. The boys looked all stunned and Charles just smiled. I loved how flirting made me and Charles more into each other. I ended up being cuddled up with him as we waited for the girls. Before we all left, I grabbed my phone and put on some lipgloss. As we got out, Charles grabbed me by the hand, lowered down and whispered something. "That lipgloss won't stay for long" he says as I turn red.

    We walked down and the buffet was only opened for us. All the drivers' and their girlfriends were there too. Charles, Carlos and Lando introduced us three ladies as their dates. We all smiled and started to talk to the other women. They were all really kind, especially Kelly, Max's wife. She stayed around us as the four men couldn't stop making jokes. We all went to get food and sat on the table. Charles sat near me and put his hand on my lap, I started to shake for no reason. We all ate and had fun getting to know each other. We all went to a disco after and went dancing.

Charles and I, decided to dance a bit together. There was a specific song that had a part saying "low low". So I decided to go low and so did Charles. We had a very certain vibe together. We ended up laughing and going near the others. Then, we found out that Faith and Lando kissed! Faith was speechless and couldn't stop smiling. Lando was really happy too. After some minutes, I saw Lando asking Faith to be WITH HER! All of us freaked out. He knew her for only one day and got only a bit of chance to get to know her. We were all so happy for the new couple! They were cute together and I saw how excited they were both. As the night went by, it got dark and everyone was really tired. We all went to our rooms and said bye to each other.

       As everyone got in, me and Charles stayed out the room for some minutes. He asked me if I remembered what he said when we went out for the buffet. I said yes and if I looked at him, he went in for a kiss. He grabbed me by the hips as he kissed me. We might have made out a bit.. Then, he took a second, smiled and said good night. I was shocked. I saw him walking alone down the hall, I couldn't resist. I went running and jumped on his back. He turned around and hugged me and told me to go to bed. "Good night little shorty, see you tomorrow" he told me as he winked. "Good night lord Perceval" I said as I waved...

      I got in the room to see Faith and Leah looking at me. They asked me what happened and I told them everything. In every single detail. They started to scream so much. I went to get dressed and said good night. They probably did the same thing. I slept instantly..Tomorrow awaits...
